Lavinia Ferrari: “Non sono un mostro. Che il dolore non diventi una battaglia politica”

“Ma allora a me non importa niente se una coppia perde un bambino? No, non sono un mostro, e mi dispiace enormemente se anche solo una persona, sentendomi parlare, ha pensato che non mi interessasse – esordisce Ferrari nel video, girato davanti Palazzo di Giano.  Dunque, perché sono intervenuta così in consiglio comunale? Perché trovo grave usare il dolore delle persone per fare una battaglia politica. Perché quelli che lo fanno – riferendosi agli esponenti della destra locale e nazionale e alle loro posizioni sull’aborto, n.d.r – sono gli stessi che spesso mettono in discussione il diritto di scelta delle donne.

Mi sarei dovuta spiegare meglio, è vero. Niente può togliere un aborto spontaneo e nessuno lo mette in discussione. Ma perché parlo di aborto? Perché il luogo per i bambini mai nati della misericordia fa capo ad un accordo di sepoltura tra cappellania dell’ospedale San Jacopo e Misericordia di Pistoia che tratta i feti solo al di sotto delle 20 settimane, ovvero, grossomodo, il periodo in cui sono consentite le interruzioni volontarie di gravidanze. Nella fattispecie, per quei genitori che hanno scelto di non occuparsi della sepoltura”.

Diritto all’aborto: com’è la situazione a Pistoia?

“Ho reagito d’istinto, è vero. I modi potevano essere molto diversi, è vero. Ma non aveva a che fare con il dolore degli altri, non deve essere messo in dubbio come purtroppo, strumentalmente, la destra pistoiese, toscana e nazionale sta facendo. Sono preoccupata. Il diritto all’aborto nel comune di Pistoia è lontano dal dirsi garantito. Nel 2024 al San Jacopo sono state effettuale solo 86 interruzioni volontarie di gravidanza: il restante 190 sono state effettuate a Pescia, che conta 19mila abitanti contro gli 89mila di Pistoia.

L’accesso alla 194 – L’interruzione volontaria di gravidanza (IVG) in Italia è regolata dalla Legge 22 maggio 1978 n.194, n.d.r – nel nostro comune è già fin troppo problematico e, ci auguriamo che non sia il caso di Pistoia, in altre città luoghi come i cimiteri dei bambini mai nati sono diventati luoghi in cui si colpevolizzano le donne che abortiscono”. Conclude così la sua riflessione la consigliera Ferrari.

Lavinia Ferrari, dunque, riconosce l’errore del tono utilizzato in sede consiliare, ma mantiene viva e con forte convinzione la battaglia per il diritto all’aborto e della libertà di scelta delle donne. Non mancheranno sicuramente repliche dall’altra parte della barricata.

ZURICH, Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Art Basel and UBS Survey of Global Collecting 2026 by Arts Economics, reveals fresh insights into the evolving behaviors and motivations of high-net-worth (HNW) collectors. Conducted by Arts Economics in collaboration with UBS, the survey draws on responses from 3,100 HNW individuals across 10 key markets: the US, UK, Mainland China, Hong Kong, France, Australia, Germany, Japan, Brazil and Singapore.

Attitudes towards privacy and access varied widely, challenging some established assumptions. Many purchases are driven less by the conspicuous consumption traditionally linked to the market than by a desire to build connections within close networks, where status comes less from price than from rarity, provenance, originality, and discovery. Restricting access does not remove a collection’s signaling power; exclusivity can be part of the signal. Perhaps surprisingly, the youngest collectors were the most private, both in person and online. Gen Z collectors were the least likely to share details of their collections publicly online, preferring invitation-only spaces, with privacy central to their personal and cultural identity.”

SUZHOU, China and MÖLNDAL, Sweden, Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Suzhou Ribo Life Science (06938.HK) and its subsidiary Ribocure Pharmaceuticals AB (collectively referred to as “Ribo”) announced the successful submission of a Phase Ⅰ Clinical Trial Application (CTA) in EU for RBD3133, a novel siRNA therapeutic targeting INHBE (inhibin subunit beta E), with overweight and obesity as its intended future therapeutic indications. 

Obesity has become one of the world’s most significant public health challenges, affecting more than one billion people globally and contributing to a substantial burden of type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and other obesity-related comorbidities. Despite recent advances in obesity treatment, there remains a significant need for innovative therapies that address the underlying biology of metabolic dysfunction and provide durable clinical benefit. 

RBD3133 is designed to selectively silence INHBE, a gene encoding the protein activin E. Human genetic studies have demonstrated that individuals carrying naturally occurring loss-of-function variants in INHBE exhibit healthier fat distribution, improved metabolic characteristics, and lower estimated risk of coronary heart disease and type 2 diabetes. These findings support INHBE as a promising therapeutic target for obesity and related metabolic diseases. 

The Phase Ⅰ study is a randomized, placebo-controlled trial designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of subcutaneously administered RBD3133 in participants with overweight or obesity. The trial will provide the first assessment of RBD3133 in humans and will establish the foundation for further clinical development.

Lo ha affermato l’arcivescovo di Firenze, monsignor Gherardo Gambelli, nell’incontro con la giunta camerale: si tratta, secondo la Camera di Commercio, del primo incontro di questo genere nella sua storia.
“Mi ha molto colpito la vicenda di quegli autisti di Autolinee Toscane che hanno dovuto lasciare il lavoro” perché a volte “i salari non rispondono alle aspettative”, ha spiegato Gambelli, che ha risposto anche alle domande sulle difficoltà che le imprese, e quelle artigiane in particolare, devono affrontare a causa di pastoie burocratiche e alta tassazione.
Poi l’arcivescovo di Firenze: “Conosco personalmente questi problemi, mia mamma era una sarta artigiana e ha dovuto chiudere la propria attività a causa delle difficoltà di cui mi parlate”.
Fra i temi toccati nell’incontro, anche “la disoccupazione e i giovani, le difficoltà del ricambio generazionale nelle imprese, i problemi dell’abitare che rendono complicata la vita dei cittadini e dei fedeli“, ha detto il presidente della Camera di commercio Massimo Manetti. Per Manetti sull‘emergenza casa “è fondamentale fare squadra, il problema dei costi elevati dell’abitare colpisce anche le imprese che incontrano grosse difficoltà nel reperire il personale specializzato di cui hanno bisogno”.

L’episodio si è verificato intorno alle 20 in via Rubattorno, nel comune di Monsummano Terme. Ad andare a fuoco per cause in corso di accertamento, una stanza posta al primo piano. I due residenti, sono stati trasportati al pronto soccorso dell’ospedale di Pescia.

FIRENZE – Beni per circa 2 milioni di euro sono stati sequestrati dalla Guardia di finanza di Firenze a due imprenditori e alle società a loro riconducibili, attive nei settori dei trasporti e della lavorazione dei tessuti. Il provvedimento, disposto dal Tribunale di Firenze su richiesta della Procura, arriva al termine di un’indagine su frodi fiscali e riciclaggio condotta dai finanzieri della compagnia di Empoli.

L’inchiesta è partita dal controllo di un gruppo di società empolesi, rappresentate dai due principali indagati e collegate tra loro da rapporti commerciali, che avevano accumulato rilevanti debiti con il fisco. Dai primi accertamenti è emerso che quasi tutte le imprese non avevano lavoratori dipendenti, utenze elettriche né attrezzature adatte a svolgere davvero l’attività dichiarata.

Secondo l’ipotesi degli investigatori, queste società sarebbero servite a emettere fatture per operazioni inesistenti: altre aziende avrebbero così potuto indicare nelle dichiarazioni costi mai sostenuti, ottenendo risparmi d’imposta non dovuti. Il quadro è stato segnalato alla Procura di Firenze, che ha disposto nuovi accertamenti in tutta Italia. Le verifiche hanno portato a individuare altre 15 imprese ritenute cartiere, collegate alle società empolesi da rapporti commerciali che sarebbero stati soltanto fittizi.

Gli accertamenti hanno poi fatto emergere un secondo presunto meccanismo, pensato per svuotare il patrimonio della società più indebitata con l’erario. L’azienda, pur continuando a disporre di un capannone industriale, lo avrebbe ceduto a un’altra società dello stesso gruppo, privandosi sulla carta di un bene di valore e ostacolando così un’eventuale riscossione coattiva.

Con il sequestro i finanzieri hanno bloccato rapporti bancari e finanziari, terreni e immobili, crediti d’imposta, auto, gioielli e orologi di lusso, fino a raggiungere la somma stabilita dal Tribunale.
