SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Advanced NanoTherapies, Inc. (ANT), a clinical-stage medtech company dedicated to improving outcomes for patients with coronary and peripheral artery disease, today announced the closing of an oversubscribed Series B financing totaling more than $31 million. The round was co-led by an undisclosed strategic investor and S3 Ventures, with participation from the T45 Fund and new and existing investors.

ANT is redefining the vascular intervention paradigm with a next-generation dual-drug (paclitaxel and sirolimus) nanoparticle on a percutaneous balloon platform. This approach aims to maximize therapeutic effects while promoting a more predictable, sustained vascular response compared with first-generation drug-coated balloons (DCBs) with a crystalline single-drug.

This novel platform aims to deliver two drugs simultaneously to the lesion site using functionalized nanoparticles, enabling sustained local drug retention at lower doses,” said Rishi Puri, MD, interventional cardiologist, Cleveland Clinic.

The technology is exclusively licensed from Cleveland Clinic and built as a drug-agnostic, fully biodegradable platform for coronary, peripheral, and future vascular applications. SirPlux Duo, ANT’s lead program, has received FDA breakthrough designation and is not yet approved for commercial use.

Clinical experience supports this approach, including a first-in-human study of 28 patients across Australia, the Dominican Republic, and New Zealand, with a two-year follow-up showing no new treatment failures. In addition, in Spain, investigators are conducting an ongoing 30-patient study designed to mirror the U.S. pivotal protocol, which is currently in follow-up. Together, these data sets are expected to create a strong foundation for U.S. pivotal execution.

Additional priorities include completing the testing package and IDE submission for a U.S. BTK early feasibility study, pursuing a pivotal clinical trial agreement with the FDA, and identifying clinical sites outside the U.S. as early pivotal enrollment centers.

Consequently, no two watches in this 200-piece run feature the same face.

In-House Calibre ST1961-2: A Manual-Winding Rattrapante with Visible CharacterThe rattrapante (split-seconds) chronograph, is considered one of the most mechanically complex chronograph complications, traditionally reserved for timepieces priced above five figures. SEA-GULL developed the calibre ST1961-2 based on the ST19 chronograph architecture and caliber ST1961, the first split-seconds chronograph movement from SEA-GULL.

The movement features a column-wheel construction and an independent pusher at 10 o’clock, allowing the wearer to split, stop, and reset two superimposed chronograph seconds hands. MiCA, the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, is the European Union’s harmonized regulatory framework for crypto-assets. Under MiCA, admission to trading requires a crypto-asset white paper to be prepared, notified to the applicable authority, and published in accordance with the regulation. La Regione adotta il piano faunistico venatorio: “Equilibrio fra ambiente e gestione responsabile”

FIRENZE – Adottato dalla Regione il nuovo piano faunistico venatorio, lo strumento di programmazione che definisce le linee guida per la gestione e la tutela della fauna selvatica e per la pianificazione dell’attività venatoria sul territorio regionale. Questa mattina (2 giugno) i contenuti sono stati illustrati in Palazzo Strozzi Sacrati dal presidente Eugenio Giani insieme al sottosegretario alla presidenza Bernard Dika.

Secondo il presidente Eugenio Giani “il nuovo piano faunistico venatorio rappresenta un esempio concreto di equilibrio tra tutela dell’ambiente, gestione responsabile della fauna selvatica e regolamentazione dell’attività venatoria. La Regione Toscana ha costruito uno strumento che integra conoscenze scientifiche, esigenze del territorio e contributi a seguito di un ampio percorso partecipativo. La suddivisione in comprensori omogenei, l’individuazione puntuale degli istituti faunistici e la definizione delle aree vocate e non vocate garantiscono una gestione attenta e proporzionata, capace di coniugare conservazione della biodiversità e sostenibilità delle attività umane”.

“Il piano è frutto di un lavoro rigoroso e condiviso finalizzato ad armonizzare la salvaguardia degli ecosistemi e la regolamentazione sostenibile del prelievo venatorio – ha detto il sottosegretario Bernard Dika – Ambiente e attività antropica sono gli aspetti che rendono il nostro paesaggio unico al mondo e da sempre coesistono in equilibrio sul nostro territorio. Come Regione Toscana vogliamo confermare una visione responsabile ma anche moderna, attraverso una pianificazione precisa che parte dalle specificità territoriali”.

Il recente passaggio in giunta dà avvio alla seconda parte del percorso, dopo l’adozione avvenuta in prima battuta nel corso del 2025 in giunta e in consiglio regionale. In seguito aveva avuto luogo la fase partecipativa, un programma di incontri territoriali per illustrare i contenuti del Piano a tutti i cittadini, alle associazioni e agli enti interessati, che avevano potuto fornire le proprie osservazioni al testo adottato. La pianificazione faunistico venatoria viene attuata dalla Regione Toscana considerando le caratteristiche ambientali e socioeconomiche del territorio, con l’obiettivo di garantire la tutela e conservazione della fauna selvatica, il mantenimento degli equilibri ecologici e una regolamentazione sostenibile del prelievo venatorio. Il Piano organizza il territorio in comprensori omogenei e definisce la localizzazione e l’estensione degli istituti faunistici, degli appostamenti fissi, delle aree vocate e non vocate per gli ungulati, oltre a tutte le ripartizioni necessarie alla gestione dell’attività venatoria.

All’interno dei comprensori vengono individuate, tra le altre, zone di protezione e oasi lungo le rotte migratorie, di ripopolamento e cattura e zone di rispetto venatorio, centri pubblici e privati di riproduzione della fauna, aziende faunistico venatorie e agrituristico venatorie, aree di addestramento cani, parchi nazionali e aree protette.

Viene valorizzato il ruolo del volontariato territoriale e vengono potenziati gli investimenti nei servizi informatici e nella formazione, in particolare per la sicurezza.

Un ruolo fondamentale è stato inoltre svolto dal Nurv (Nucleo unificato regionale di valutazione e verifica degli investimenti pubblici) che ha fornito un parere obbligatorio sul piano, sancendo in questo modo la conformità alla normativa ambientale, nonché l’aderenza alle politiche regionali su scelte tecniche e gestionali.
