L’inaugurazione di venerdì 21 agosto al Giardino di Villa Garzoni vedrà protagonista il cantautore livornese Roberto Bobo Rondelli, che proporrà un percorso musicale che spazia dalle sue ballate più intime all’energia goliardica del recente album Storie Assurde. La chiusura di domenica 23 agosto nella piazza dei Mosaici del Parco di Pinocchio sarà affidata invece al comico Paolo Rossi con lo spettacolo Operaccia Satirica, affiancato in scena da Caterina Gabanella.

Il ricco cartellone degli eventi principali propone inoltre venerdì 21 agosto lo show Meglio Tarde che Mai della Compagnia Trioche per la regia di Rita Pelusio. Sabato 22 agosto la piazza dei Mosaici ospiterà Kamina Teatro con De Rebus in Oriente Mirabilibus, originale rilettura del Milione di Marco Polo con la partecipazione dell’arpista Lucia De Antoni, mentre al Giardino Garzoni andrà in scena Mr. Bloom di Antonio Brugnano, un tributo al mimo d’autore di Charlie Chaplin e Jacques Tati. Nella serata finale di domenica 23 agosto, oltre all’esibizione di Paolo Rossi, il Giardino Garzoni accoglierà la sonorità trascinante e la World Music dei Riciclato Circo Musicale, formazione marchigiana che suona strumenti realizzati con materiali di recupero.

FIRENZE – Più risorse per ridurre le liste d’attesa nelle Rsa, nuovi strumenti per prevenire la fragilità e una rete di servizi integrati sempre più vicina alle persone e alle famiglie. È la strategia con cui la Regione Toscana affronta la sfida dell’invecchiamento demografico, mettendo in campo un pacchetto di interventi approvati dalla giunta che rafforzano il welfare territoriale e accompagnano la persona anziana lungo tutto il percorso di vita.

Tra le misure di maggiore rilievo c’è lo stanziamento di 10 milioni di euro aggiuntivi per aumentare gli inserimenti nelle Residenze sanitarie assistenziali (Rsa). Si aggiunge il nuovo programma Sostegno Fragilità Anziani, che garantisce un intervento rapido quando una persona con più di 70 anni affronta un momento di fragilità, con visite domiciliari, orientamento e supporto nella ricerca di assistenti familiari qualificati. Completa il pacchetto l’approvazione delle Linee guida per la prescrizione sociale, un nuovo modello di prevenzione che consente ai professionisti della salute di orientare le persone verso attività culturali, volontariato e relazioni di comunità, riconoscendo che la salute dipende anche dalle condizioni sociali e relazionali.

Inoltre avviamo un percorso che renderà la programmazione delle Rsa più equa, superando i vecchi budget storici per renderla coerente con la reale distribuzione della popolazione anziana e con l’evoluzione dei bisogni nei territori”

Il primo intervento riguarda l’assistenza residenziale. La giunta regionale ha destinato 10 milioni di euro aggiuntivi per il 2026 agli inserimenti nelle Residenze Sanitarie Assistenziali (Rsa) di persone ultra65enni non autosufficienti con Piano Assistenziale Individualizzato (Pao). La misura nasce dal monitoraggio delle liste d’attesa nelle Zone Distretto e nelle Società della Salute, che ha evidenziato la necessità di rafforzare l’offerta.

Con questo incremento, la dotazione complessiva 2026 per Rsa e Centri Diurni sale a 244,05 milioni di euro. Il provvedimento avvia inoltre la riorganizzazione dell’offerta specialistica e fissa per il 2027 una dotazione complessiva di 276,05 milioni di euro, che includerà anche 12 milioni previsti dal Patto per il Welfare per l’adeguamento contrattuale dei lavoratori delle cooperative sociali e del settore.

Altra misura significativa l’avvio dallo scorso 1 luglio del programma triennale Sostegno Fragilità Anziani – Una Rete di Prossimità, finanziato con 12,8 milioni di euro. Evoluzione dell’esperienza del Pronto Badante, il servizio si rivolge agli over 70 che affrontano per la prima volta un momento di fragilità.

Attraverso il numero unico regionale 055.4383000, il sistema garantisce un intervento rapido entro 24-48 ore, con visite domiciliari, orientamento e supporto pratico per la ricerca di assistenti familiari qualificati. Tra le misure previste, anche un contributo una tantum di 300 euro (erogato tramite Libretto Famiglia Inps) per coprire fino a 30 ore di assistenza regolare a domicilio.

Nel primo mese di attivazione ci sono già state 1507 telefonate al numero unico regionale con conseguenti 725 attivazioni di progetti.

La Toscana compie un passo avanti anche sul fronte della prevenzione con l’approvazione delle Linee guida per la prescrizione sociale, uno strumento di integrazione sociosanitaria che consente ai professionisti della salute e del sociale di orientare le persone verso attività, servizi e risorse presenti nella comunità, riconoscendole come parte integrante dei percorsi di salute e benessere.

La prescrizione sociale consentirà ai professionisti della sanità e del sociale di orientare le persone verso attività motorie, culturali, di volontariato e partecipazione civica, riconoscendo il valore che queste esperienze hanno nella promozione della salute e nella prevenzione della fragilità e della solitudine.

Le Case della Comunità rappresenteranno il punto di snodo naturale di questo modello, valorizzando il Terzo settore e l’associazionismo come vera e propria “infrastruttura di salute” contro l’isolamento e la solitudine.

A completare il quadro delle azioni regionali è il percorso d’innovazione avviato con il coinvolgimento di oltre 50 professionisti del sistema socio-sanitario toscano. Non-GAAP Financial Measures

Under the partnership, OCI customers will be able to directly access Quantinuum’s Helios, the most accurate commercial quantum computer in the world,[1] through OCI’s quantum service, alongside OCI’s high-performance computing (HPC) and GPU infrastructure. 

Together, Quantinuum and Oracle plan to explore how hybrid quantum-AI infrastructure could address some of the most computationally intensive challenges facing enterprises and broaden access for universities and research institutions advancing scientific discovery and education. The partnership reflects a shared vision that the future of enterprise computing will be built on the convergence of AI, classical supercomputing, and quantum computing. Many complex problems across materials discovery, drug development, logistics, energy, and financial modeling already push the limits of today’s computing architectures.

The license gives Mews a regulated status in the European Economic Area (EEA), enabling it to unify payment services, financial workflows and operational data within a single system. Until now, the operational record has lived in Mews while the financial record has been originated in third-party systems. The EMI license allows Mews to bring both together in one place, the same place where revenue is created. It also lays the foundation for Mews to build new financial capabilities tailored for hospitality on top of its existing infrastructure.

Gravity Capital Hong Kong becomes the new shareholder. The transaction was completed on 30 June 2026, marking the conclusion of the former joint venture structure with VZB. 

ZURICH, Aug. 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Following the takeover of its subsidiary in the United Arab Emirates by Gravity Capital, Kingstone Capital AG Switzerland has fully exited the former joint venture structure with the Versorgungswerk der Zahnärzte Berlin (VZB). The UAE entity held a 70.3% stake in Grand Metropolitan Hotels Holding B.V. in the Netherlands and served as the investment platform for the joint venture. 

Also effective 30 June 2026, the directors of the former Grand Metropolitan Hotels Holding B.V. and the members of its Supervisory Board resigned from their respective positions. In addition, the company lost the right to use the Grand Metropolitan name and will operate in the future under the name Gravity Capital Hospitality. 

For the international hotel management and brand group Grand Metropolitan Hotels, the change in ownership represents one key outcome: the Group could separate itself from the JV and will now focus entirely on executing its international growth strategy on an independent basis. 

Through the takeover of Kingstone Capital UAE, Gravity Capital has indirectly acquired the former 70.3% shareholding in Grand Metropolitan Hotels Holding B.V., the Dutch BV company of the former joint venture. The transaction relates solely to this indirect shareholding. 

Kingstone Capital Holding AG (Switzerland) remains an unchanged strategic investor in the Grand Metropolitan Hotels Group and will continue to support the Group’s international expansion in line with its long-term corporate strategy, entirely outside the former joint venture structure.

Independently of this transaction, Grand Metropolitan 1931 AG, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kingstone Capital AG Switzerland and the worldwide owner of the Grand Metropolitan trademark rights, has terminated the licence permitting the Dutch joint venture company to use the Grand Metropolitan Hotels brand. 

It remains to be seen how the future financing of the joint venture—previously funded exclusively by Kingstone Capital Switzerland as a result of the difficulties surrounding the VZB—will be arranged between the new shareholders. 

“When we established the joint venture, we were convinced that we had found a reliable and long-term partner in VZB. However, the developments of recent months have demonstrated that continuing the partnership was no longer feasible,” said Martin R. Smura, Founder of the Grand Metropolitan Hotels Group. 

According to the company, the joint venture had been in a prolonged state of deadlock after several proposed solutions between the shareholders failed to gain mutual support. These included proposals for the reciprocal acquisition of each party’s shareholding as well as a proposed capital increase. In addition, several key corporate resolutions could not be implemented. 

“We sincerely regret this development. Our common objective was to build and develop this investment over the long term. However, once it became clear that there was no longer a viable basis for cooperation, separation became the only logical course of action,” added Martin R. Smura. 

With the completion of the transaction, Grand Metropolitan Hotels considers the separation from the former joint venture structure to be concluded and is now fully focused on the continued expansion of its international hotel management and brand business. 

The Group remains committed to its asset-light strategy, concentrating on hotel management, branding, franchising, affiliations and digital hospitality solutions. Future growth will continue to be supported by strategic investments from Kingstone Capital Holding AG (Switzerland).

Non sarà attivata alcuna prevendita: i tagliandi potranno essere acquistati esclusivamente il giorno della partita presso la biglietteria dello Stadio “Buon Riposo”, che aprirà alle ore 17:30, un’ora prima del fischio d’inizio.

L’ultimo test della pre season arancione si disputerà invece sabato 22 agosto, quando la FC Pistoiese affronterà il Siena allo Stadio “Roberto Strulli” di Monsummano Terme, con inizio della gara previsto alle ore 18:00. L’accesso all’impianto sarà consentito con l’acquisto del biglietto al prezzo unico di 10 euro, mentre per gli Under 10 l’ingresso sarà gratuito.
