<p>As extreme heat grips much of Europe, a new travel trend is taking shape. Increasingly, travelers are looking beyond their own borders in search of cooler summer destinations, and China is emerging as one of their top choices. </p>
<p>With its cool climate and picturesque landscape of green hills and clear waters, Liupanshui City, known as China&#8217;s &#8220;cool city&#8221; in southwest China&#8217;s Guizhou Province, has emerged as a favored destination for foreign travelers escaping the heat. During this summer vacation, more than 20 themed events, including music festivals and rural garden fairs, are taking place across the city, drawing visitors from around the world. </p>
<p>Touring the city this summer, Max Slonim, an American tourist, was impressed by the cool and comfortable weather. &#8220;Whenever you go to scenic and beautiful places, you can really experience nature and the peaceful atmosphere without huge crowds and long queues,&#8221; he said. </p>
<p>The broader momentum behind &#8220;China Travel&#8221; continues to build. During the first half of 2026, China recorded more than 22.91 million inbound visits, up 20.4% year on year. Traditional summer destinations such as Yunnan, Guizhou and Hunan provinces have topped international travelers&#8217; summer wishlists. </p>

Booming China Travel<br />
 </p>
<p>In Zhangjiajie, a tourist city in central China&#8217;s Hunan Province known worldwide for its dreamlike landscape, the peak season for inbound visitors has arrived. Tourists from Europe, Southeast Asia and beyond venture into its UNESCO-listed sandstone mountains, where cool breezes and lush forests offer a natural retreat. </p>
<p>Benefiting from China&#8217;s 240-hour visa-free transit policy, the city has opened over 10 passenger air routes linking eight countries and regions. Fast-track immigration procedures and entry to major attractions with just a passport have made traveling in the city more seamless than ever for international visitors. </p>
<p>Since the beginning of July, family summer trips to the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Scenic Area have surged, with daily visits approaching 10,000 and inbound tourists accounting for over 50% of the total. </p>
<p>China&#8217;s cooler coastal destinations are also seeing rising popularity. Qinhuangdao, a seaside city in north China&#8217;s Hebei Province, has introduced a diverse lineup of summer activities, including sailing, speedboat rides, intangible cultural heritage performances and immersive VR experiences at the Great Wall Museum. </p>
<p>The city received 43,000 inbound visits during the first half of this year, up 50% year on year, while the average stay of overseas tourists doubled from seven days to fifteen. </p>
<p>The trend is especially noticeable among European travelers. European countries account for nearly 30% of China&#8217;s top 20 inbound source markets for this summer. Travel bookings have surged 275% year on year, while attraction ticket orders have increased by 20 times. Visitors from Britain, France and Germany alone account for nearly 42% of all European arrivals. </p>

Why China?<br />

<p>Behind the tourism boom is China&#8217;s steadily expanding visa facilitation policy. China currently offers unilateral visa-free entry to nationals of 50 countries and has signed mutual visa exemption agreements with 29 countries. Meanwhile, nationals from 55 countries can now utilize the 240-hour visa-free transit program to enter China via 65 designated ports. </p>
<p>International accessibility has also improved significantly. Direct flights now connect overseas destinations with 160 Chinese cities, while more than three-quarters of inbound travelers now enter the country visa-free. </p>
<p>Meanwhile, travel services have become increasingly foreigner-friendly. Multilingual ticketing machines, AI-powered translation devices and customer support in English, French, Spanish and other languages are now widely available at tourist attractions and on major travel platforms. </p>
<p>Yet one detail repeatedly highlighted by foreign visitors is surprisingly simple: air conditioning. From airports and subway stations to shopping malls, hotels and tourist attractions, reliable cooling has become an essential part of China&#8217;s summer travel experience, supported by one of the world&#8217;s largest and most reliable power systems. </p>
<p>Across social media, videos of foreign travelers sharing their summer adventures in China have become windows through which global audiences are rediscovering the country. Increasingly, visitors are venturing beyond Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen to explore ancient towns, mountain villages and lesser-known cities. What they are finding is more than just a cool place to escape the summer heat – they are discovering a China that is increasingly accessible, welcoming and vibrant. </p>

                <description><![CDATA[<p>PISTOIA &#8211; La stagione della Lumos Pistoia prenderà ufficialmente il via lunedì 10 agosto con il raduno della Prima Squadra. Sotto la guida dell&#8217;allenatore Franco Ciani, i biancorossi scenderanno sul parquet della LumoSquare per sostenere la prima seduta mattutina e quella pomeridiana, dando il via a una serie di impegni di preparazione che verranno comunicati settimanalmente attraverso i canali social della società in vista dell&#8217;esordio in campionato, fissato per il 27 settembre in occasione della prima giornata della Serie A2 Old Wild West.</p>
<p data-path-to-node="1">Il calendario dei test amichevoli si aprirà mercoledì 26 agosto alle 20, quando la squadra affronterà i padroni di casa della Fortitudo Bologna sul campo del PalaDozza. Sabato 29 agosto alle 20, la formazione pistoiese sarà protagonista di un appuntamento storico al Palasport Sandro Pertini di San Marcello Piteglio, in località Bardalone, dove affronterà la neopromossa in Serie A2 La T Tecnica Gema Montecatini. L&#8217;incontro segnerà il ritorno di una rappresentante cestistica di Pistoia nello storico impianto della Montagna dopo oltre trent&#8217;anni, rappresentando una prima assoluta per i colori biancorossi grazie all&#8217;organizzazione del Comune di San Marcello Piteglio in collaborazione con Dynamo Sport. Al termine della sfida, come illustrato dal vicesindaco Giacomo Buonomini, i tifosi potranno partecipare a una cena organizzata all&#8217;impianto sportivo insieme alla squadra, con i dettagli che saranno resi noti sui canali istituzionali del Comune.</p>

<p> SHENZHEN, China, July 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ &#8212; The climate-trade nexus has become a defining challenge for the Asia-Pacific region — a topic that drew nearly 100 scholars, policymakers, and industry representatives to the Carbon Economics Salon Series in Shenzhen on June 16, just weeks ahead of the APEC Forestry Ministerial Meeting (July 27-28), where the green transition is expected to take center stage. </p>
<p>Themed &#8220;Breaking through Green Barriers: Carbon Economy Governance and the Reshaping of International Trade Rules,&#8221; the salon was co-hosted by Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS) and the Institute of Carbon Neutrality at Peking University (ICN-PKU). Discussions centered on three interconnected challenges: unilateral climate-related trade measures, uneven carbon market development, and the emerging role of AI in carbon governance — topics that also foreshadowed key themes on the APEC agenda in November. </p>
<p>In opening remarks, Piao Shilong, vice president of PKU and dean of ICN-PKU, and Hai Wen, vice chair of the PKU Council and founding dean of PHBS, underscored the urgency of building an inclusive global carbon governance system. Wang Pengfei, Boya Distinguished Professor at PKU and dean of PHBS, called for stronger carbon pricing mechanisms and market-based tools. </p>
<p>The keynote session featured Thomas J. Sargent, the 2011 Nobel laureate in economics and honorary director of the PHBS Sargent Institute of Quantitative Economics and Finance, who noted that uncertainty should encourage earlier investment in green R&amp;D, emissions reduction, and forest conservation. Jiang Kejun, professor and head of the Thrust of Carbon Neutrality and Climate Change at HKUST (Guangzhou), identified 2030–2035 as a critical window for China&#8217;s energy transition, driven by rapid growth in renewables and electric vehicles. Wu Dengsheng, professor at Shenzhen University, presented a review of carbon economics research, showing that China ranks second worldwide in publications. </p>
<p>Two roundtable sessions examined the spread of unilateral climate measures and their implications for global trade equity, as well as carbon market cooperation with the Global South. Zhang Haibin, Boya Distinguished Professor at PKU and vice dean of ICN-PKU, delivered closing remarks, reaffirming the importance of continued dialogue across disciplines. </p>
<p>The salon highlighted that carbon governance is increasingly shaped by trade rules, technology, and international coordination. It opened space for continued exchange between PHBS and ICN-PKU on global climate governance and China&#8217;s &#8220;dual carbon&#8221; goals — topics that are expected to feature as APEC economies deepen their climate cooperation. </p>

                <description><![CDATA[<p>PISTOIA &#8211; Nei mesi di agosto e settembre torna il ciclo di incontri <strong><em>Leggere, raccontare, incontrarsi… d’estate</em></strong>, organizzato dalla<strong> Biblioteca San Giorgio</strong> nelle frazioni collinari e montane del Comune di Pistoia in collaborazione con le Proloco e le associazioni presenti sul territorio.</p>
<p>Iniziata nel 2024 come prosecuzione estiva di <strong><em>Leggere, raccontare, incontrarsi…</em></strong>, nel corso degli anni la serie di appuntamenti ha visto un crescente successo e ha ampliato l’offerta, estendendo il proprio programma e le sedi in cui si tengono gli appuntamenti.<br />
Al centro di ogni incontro c’è un <strong>libro</strong> che parla di tematiche legate al territorio, con una particolare attenzione a quelle che riguardano la montagna, la sua storia, i suoi personaggi, le sue tradizioni. Sono otto gli eventi in calendario, tutti ad accesso libero.</p>
<p>Il primo appuntamento è in programma sabato (1 agosto) alle 18 a <strong>Castagno nella sede della Proloco</strong>, dove viene presentato il libro <strong><em>Il cammino di San Jacopo</em></strong> in Toscana: un nuovo cammino italiano verso Santiago, curato da Nedo Ferrari, con il contributo di Paolo Rindi e Alessandro Guerra (edizioni Nuove Esperienze), una guida dettaglia al cammino toscano che comprende anche Pistoia.</p>
<p>Seguono un incontro con Barbara Beneforti che venerdì 7 agosto alle 18 nella piazza di Spedaletto presenta il suo ultimo romanzo, <strong><em>Tre giorni senza conseguenze</em> </strong>(Tralerighe libri, 2026), in cui nel narrare una storia dalle tinte gialle ripropone l’ambientazione e i protagonisti del romanzo precedente, Il tempo dell’incanto.</p>
<p>La presentazione, martedì 18 agosto alle ore 18 nella piazza di Fabbiana, del libro <strong><em>Per le strade di Pinocchio. Beatrice di Pian degli Ontani e i poeti della montagna</em></strong> (Kellermann, 2026) dedicato alla poetessa pastora della Montagna pistoiese e a tanti altri poeti come lei attraverso cui l’autore ricostruisce una tradizione popolata di pastori poeti, cantori improvvisatori, donne raccoglitrici di memoria, studiosi e interpreti che hanno riportato alla luce un importante patrimonio di cultura popolare.</p>
<p>La presentazione, sabato 29 agosto alle 18 al Circolo Arci di Le Grazie, del libro <strong><em>La Montagna pistoiese</em></strong> di Pippo Rusconi curato da Andrea Ottanelli (Alvivo, 2025), riproposizione di un saggio pubblicato nel 1911 sulla rivista francese <strong><em>La science sociale</em></strong> che ritrae la società della Montagna pistoiese nella prima decade del Novecento.</p>

                <title>Edilizia scolastica, d&#8217;estate i lavori nei plessi di Quarrata: cantiere da 1,3 milioni al comprensivo Bonaccorso da Montemagno</title>

                <description><![CDATA[<p>QUARRATA &#8211; Concluso l’anno scolastico, approfittando della chiusura estiva, <strong>il Comune di Quarrata ha terminato e si appresta a terminare tanti interventi sulle scuole del territorio, in vista del nuovo anno scolastico 2026/2027</strong> per consegnare a studenti, professori, genitori e personale scuole più belle, sicure ed efficienti fin dal primo giorno di scuola.</p>
<p>La notizia più attesa riguarda<strong> la sede centrale e succursale dell’Istituto comprensivo Bonaccorso da Montemagno di Quarrata. </strong>Lo scorso 30 giugno è stato ufficialmente approvato il collaudo statico e tecnico-amministrativo relativo all’adeguamento sismico delle due sedi della scuola, centrale e succursale.</p>
<p><strong>L’opera, dal valore complessivo di circa 1 milione e 290mila euro</strong> &#8211; finanziata in parte dal ministero dell’istruzione (stanziamento 2017) e per 155 mila euro dai contributi privati legati ai danni dell&#8217;alluvione 2023 — ha visto la realizzazione di una complessa struttura esterna in acciaio che mette in sicurezza gli edifici, garantendo una risposta ottimale in caso di sisma. La struttura rimane volutamente a vista, con il colore rosso che è stato scelto per valorizzarla come componente architettonica-strutturale.</p>
<p><strong>A completamento dei lavori principali, sono già state avviate o programmate anche altre cinque diverse opere accessorie e di completamento (per ulteriori 316 mila euro complessivi):</strong></p>
<p>La tinteggiatura delle facciate della sede centrale, che prenderà il via prossima settimana, e quella della succursale, che sarà realizzata in autunno/primavera.<br />
<strong>La pulizia dei giardini e la messa in sicurezza delle alberature con l&#8217;abbattimento di un cedro pericolante</strong>. Entro l&#8217;inizio delle lezioni sarà inoltre completamente riqualificato il campino da basket. Già conclusi a giugno i lavori preventivi sui controsoffitti della palestra.</p>
<p><strong>Parallelamente, sempre alla palestra, sono partiti i lavori impiantistici del secondo lotto per adeguare l’immobile sotto il profilo anti-incendio</strong>: questi termineranno entro settembre.</p>
<p>Proseguono come da crono-programma anche i lavori al maxi cantiere da 1,5 milioni di euro alla<strong> Scuola dell’infanzia di Catena</strong>. I lavori sono in corso con fine prevista da bando regionale entro aprile 2027. Al momento sono state completate tutte le opere di demolizione, compresa la copertura, che era la parte più onerosa del progetto, sia in termini economici che come tipologia di lavorazione, visto il tipo di solaio. <strong>Entro settembre è previsto il completo rifacimento della nuova copertura in legno, per poi passare agli interni nel periodo autunno-inverno, in modo da poter lavorare con continuità anche se dovesse piovere.</strong></p>
<p>La pianificazione estiva dei lavori tocca in modo capillare anche gli altri istituti scolastici per garantire la piena operatività a partire da settembre.</p>
<p><strong>Scuola dell’Infanzia di Barba</strong>: è in fase di gara la sostituzione completa di tutti gli infissi con efficientamento energetico. Un intervento da 105mila euro interamente finanziato dal Comune di Quarrata.</p>
<p><strong>Scuola Primaria di Valenzatico</strong>: già affidati i lavori per i nuovi infissi (investimento complessivo di 25.300 euro da bilancio comunale). L&#8217;intervento, richiesto dall&#8217;USL per adeguare i vetri agli standard di sicurezza vigenti, si concluderà prima dell&#8217;avvio del nuovo anno scolastico.</p>
<p><strong>Scuole Medie di Vignole</strong>: al via il completo rifacimento delle recinzioni perimetrali esterne e dei cancelli, con relativa automazione. L’opera ha un costo di 200 mila Euro coperto da fondi comunali.</p>
<p><strong>Scuola dell’Infanzia Caramelli</strong>: in fase di affidamento la riqualificazione del giardino didattico con una nuova area attrezzata in gomma colata. Si punta anche qui a completare l’opera per la prima campanella di settembre.</p>

Questo sforzo straordinario, che unisce la chiusura dello storico cantiere delle Medie al restyling degli altri plessi, dimostra la nostra priorità assoluta: farci trovare pronti a settembre con ambienti moderni, efficienti e sicuri per tutti”.</p>

<p>The announcement follows Seegene&#8217;s launch of the Global Million Clinical Study (GMCS) on July 8. The initiative aims to generate scientific evidence for Global New Standard of PCR testing by accumulating real-world clinical data from healthcare institutions worldwide and evaluating the clinical utility of disease-specific diagnostic testing strategies. </p>
<p>HPV is widely recognized as the primary cause of cervical cancer, and certain high-risk genotypes, particularly HPV-16 and HPV-18, are closely associated with disease progression. Because screening and follow-up strategies may vary depending on the HPV genotype detected, identifying not only the presence of HPV but also the genotype provides important clinical information for patient management. </p>
<p>STIs are caused by a variety of pathogens, including Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae. They may present with a broad range of symptoms, including abnormal discharge, dysuria, genital pain or itching, dyspareunia, lower abdominal pain, genital ulcers, vesicles or warts, and infertility. Because different pathogens often cause similar clinical symptoms, identifying the causative pathogen with symptoms alone may be difficult. In addition, asymptomatic infections are common and may contribute to unrecognized transmission. </p>
<p>Recent studies have suggested that STIs and vaginal dysbiosis may be associated with changes in the local inflammatory, immune, and microbial environment of the cervix, potentially influencing HPV acquisition, persistence, or clearance. This growing body of evidence underscores the importance of interpreting HPV and STI findings within the broader clinical context – including the patient&#8217;s age, symptoms, sexual history and exposure risk, pregnancy plan, prior infection history and the specific organism detected. Together, these findings provide a scientific rationale for further evaluating a comprehensive HPV and STI testing approach that assesses HPV risk alongside concurrent sexually transmitted and reproductive tract infections. </p>
<p>Using STAgora™, Seegene&#8217;s real-time test data analytics and statistical platform, the company internally analyzed approximately 60,000 HPV &amp; STI co-testing results generated over a 42-month period. The analysis showed that STI pathogens were detected in 82% of HPV-positive cases, while HPV was detected in 46% of STI-positive cases. In addition, co-detection of HPV and STI pathogens was observed in 71% of positive cases identified through comprehensive HPV &amp; STI testing. </p>
<p>These findings demonstrate the potential application of concurrent STI testing with HPV screening. The promising applications may include identifying asymptomatic STIs, assessing co-infections in HPV-positive individuals, and supporting reproductive health evaluations during pregnancy planning or infertility assessment. </p>
<p>Through GMCS, Seegene plans to continue accumulating clinical evidence on comprehensive HPV &amp; STI testing and to statistically evaluate its clinical utility and applicability using STAgora™. </p>

<p> LIMBURGERHOF, Germany, July 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ &#8212; BASF Agricultural Solutions has begun the registration process for Replexor™ Active (fendioxypyracil), a novel herbicide active ingredient from its protoporphyrinogen oxidase (PPO) innovation pipeline with broad-spectrum activity on both broadleaf weeds and grasses. At peak adoption, Replexor Active could support weed management programs covering more than 50 million hectares globally. First regulatory dossiers are being submitted in Brazil and Australia in July 2026, with filings in the United States and Argentina planned for 2027. Pending approvals, BASF targets first market introductions of Replexor Active around 2030. </p>
<p>Herbicide-resistant weeds are a growing challenge for farmers of major crops such as soybean, corn, and cotton. At the same time, regulatory pressure is reducing the number of available active ingredients, further limiting effective control options. </p>
<p>In this context, PPO herbicides have been a reliable cornerstone of resistance management for more than 50 years. With Replexor Active, BASF extends that portfolio – which includes Kixor® Active and Tirexor® Active – with a new level of weed control. While most existing PPO herbicides primarily target broadleaf weeds, Replexor Active also controls key annual grasses such as Eleusine indica, Echinochloa spp., and Setaria spp. With PPO resistance in grasses remaining rare, Replexor Active adds a valuable new option for managing resistant grass weeds. </p>

From Southern Europe to Central Europe, record-breaking temperatures are posing new challenges for energy infrastructure. As photovoltaic installations continue to expand across the continent, solar systems are increasingly being tested by more extreme climate conditions. </p>
<p>For years, PV innovation has focused primarily on efficiency and cost reduction. But as operating environments become more demanding, safety is emerging as another critical measure of module performance. </p>
<p>AIKO ABC brings PV safety into sharper focus </p>
<p>Against this backdrop, AIKO&#8217;s ABC (All Back Contact) modules are gaining attention not only for their high efficiency and aesthetics, but also for their exceptional safety performance. </p>
<p>AIKO ABC modules are the world&#8217;s first PV modules to receive TÜV Rheinland&#8217;s &#8220;PV Module Anti-Ignition Hazard&#8221; certification. Under TÜV Rheinland&#8217;s enhanced testing conditions, ABC modules recorded hot spot temperatures more than 35% lower than traditional modules, demonstrating their enhanced ability to reduce thermal risks associated with localized overheating. </p>
<p>Beyond this certification, ABC technology is designed to effectively limit hot spot temperatures to below 100°C under relevant operating conditions, helping reduce excessive thermal stress and mitigate potential ignition risks. This advantage has also been demonstrated in comparative shading tests, where ABC modules recorded significantly lower hot spot temperatures than traditional modules under both single-cell shading and large-area shading conditions. </p>

<p>But what enables ABC modules to achieve such strong thermal safety performance? </p>
<p>Why can ABC technology better suppress hot spots? </p>
<p>Hot spots can occur when partial shading, micro-cracks or other internal defects disrupt normal current flow within a PV module. </p>
<p>When part of a cell is shaded, its ability to generate current decreases. Because cells within a module are electrically interconnected, the affected area may be driven into reverse bias, causing electrical energy to dissipate locally as heat. If this localized heating continues, temperatures can rise rapidly, accelerating material degradation and, in severe cases, resulting in fire hazards. </p>
<p>AIKO ABC technology addresses these risks through two key design advantages. </p>
<p>Cell-level bypass diode-like function helps suppress localized overheating </p>
<p>AIKO ABC cells feature a unique cell-level bypass diode-like function designed to improve current flow under partial shading conditions. </p>
<p>When part of a cell is shaded, the architecture provides alternative current pathways that help redistribute current around the affected area, rather than allowing electrical stress and power dissipation to become highly concentrated in one location. </p>
<p>By reducing localized power dissipation, the design helps suppress excessive hot spot temperature rise and improve thermal safety under partial shading conditions. </p>
<p>This difference in thermal behavior was also illustrated in a live demonstration at Intersolar Europe 2026. Under the same lighting and shading conditions, ABC and traditional modules were compared side by side, offering a direct visual indication of how the two technologies respond to partial shading. </p>

<p>Copper interconnection technology reduces hot spot risks associated with micro-cracks </p>
<p>AIKO&#8217;s copper interconnection technology also significantly reduces the risk of hot spots associated with micro-cracks. Unlike conventional silver-paste metallization, which typically contains glass frit, AIKO ABC cells use pure copper grids bonded to the silicon wafer. </p>
<p>This robust copper-based structure significantly enhances cell toughness and mechanical strength, improving resistance to micro-cracks and reducing the associated risk of hot spot formation. </p>
<p>Protection extends beyond internally generated hot spots </p>
<p>PV fire safety is not only about preventing overheating from within the module. Solar installations may also be exposed to external fire sources, making flame resistance another important dimension of module safety. </p>
<p>Under IEC fire resistance testing, in which modules are exposed to a 760°C flame for 10 minutes, AIKO ABC dual-glass modules achieved the highest Class A fire resistance rating, while traditional modules were rated Class C, highlighting the difference in flame resistance and fire propagation performance between the two technologies. </p>

<p>As Europe accelerates its renewable energy transition, efficiency alone is no longer enough. Thermal safety, fire resistance and long-term reliability are becoming increasingly important considerations in the evaluation of next-generation PV technologies. </p>

                <description><![CDATA[<p>PISTOIA &#8211; Mercoledì (29 luglio) alle 9,30 si svolgerà la cerimonia commemorativa per <strong>l&#8217;82esimo anniversario della morte dei partigiani Silvano Fedi e Giuseppe Giulietti</strong> nel cimitero comunale di via Campi Santi nei pressi della tomba monumentale, dove riposano in modo perpetuo le spoglie di Silvano Fedi (proclamato cittadino illustre di Pistoia nell’estate 2020) e quelle di Giuseppe Giulietti.</p>
<p><strong>Saranno presenti il sindaco Giovanni Capecchi, Renzo Corsini dell’Anpi &#8211; Comitato provinciale di Pistoia, in rappresentanza della Provincia di Pistoia Francesco Branchetti, il prefetto Angelo Gallo Carrabba, il questore Marco Dalpiaz e il vescovo Augusto Mascagna.</strong></p>

Il 29 luglio è una delle tappe fondamentali e costitutive della nostra Pistoia, per questo ritengo fondamentale esserci e, soprattutto, esserci con la testa e con il cuore&#8221;</p>

<p>Nato a Pistoia il 25 aprile 1920, Silvano Fedi è stato<strong> un partigiano, anarchico e antifascista italiano</strong>. Frequenta il liceo classico Forteguerri di Pistoia quando, nell’ottobre 1939, subisce un arresto e un processo dinnanzi al tribunale speciale; viene condannato a un anno di reclusione per “associazione e propaganda antinazionale”. Nell’ottobre del 1943, poco dopo l’armistizio, è già in attività nel pistoiese con le<strong> Squadre Franche Libertarie</strong>. Le aveva costituite autonomamente, insieme a una cinquantina di uomini. Viene ucciso durante un’imboscata dei militari tedeschi il 29 luglio del 1944 in località Croce di Montechiaro a Serravalle Pistoiese, insieme al compagno Giuseppe Giulietti.</p>

                <description><![CDATA[<p><p data-path-to-node="0">La coltivazione del tabacco destinato alla produzione dei sigari Toscano registra una fase di espansione. Secondo i dati diffusi da Manifatture Sigaro Toscano, tra il 2020 e il 2026 <b data-path-to-node="0" data-index-in-node="182">le superfici coltivate sono aumentate del ventinove per cento</b>, passando da 1.190 a 1.533 ettari, mentre <b data-path-to-node="0" data-index-in-node="286">il numero dei coltivatori coinvolti è cresciuto del trentatré per cento</b>, salendo da 178 a 237 aziende agricole.</p>
<p data-path-to-node="1">Dopo una contrazione registrata nel biennio tra il 2021 e il 2022, il settore ha ripreso slancio dal 2023 grazie a maggiori investimenti sulla varietà di tabacco Kentucky. Contestualmente, <b data-path-to-node="1" data-index-in-node="189">il valore della produzione per ettaro</b> riconosciuto ai produttori, che include le integrazioni corrisposte dall&#8217;azienda, ha registrato un incremento del novantatre per cento in cinque anni, passando da circa 8.130 euro del 2020 agli oltre 15.660 euro registrati nel 2025.</p>

<p>As AI workloads increase rack density and load volatility, data centers require faster response, dependable backup, controlled temperature rise and stronger lifecycle performance. Highstar&#8217;s solution centers on two products for the layers closest to computing loads. </p>
<p>For grey space, the 85Ah high-rate lithium iron phosphate cell is designed for UPS and HVDC systems that must deliver high power rapidly and sustain reliable backup under frequent pulse conditions. High-rate discharge, thermal control, safety and durability support compact system design while helping operators balance availability with lifecycle cost. In addition, the 50Ah sodium-ion battery cells are better suited for operation across a wide temperature range of -40°C to 80°C. </p>
<p>For white-space BBUs,  Highstar offers a portfolio of tabless cylindrical cells spanning 18650 and 21700 formats, with both LFP and high-nickel NMC chemistries. Designed for BBU applications, these cells deliver high instantaneous power, low internal resistance, reduced temperature rise and enhanced safety, while accommodating different rack-space, power and cost requirements. </p>
<p>Completing the chain with grid-side storage </p>
<p>The grid-side system uses 314Ah lithium-ion cells and 160Ah sodium-ion cells, balancing long-duration energy storage, cycle life, and rapid power support. Together, the three layers create a coordinated portfolio extending from rack-level protection and system-level backup to upstream energy storage. </p>
<p>The portfolio combines lithium-ion and sodium-ion chemistries with prismatic and cylindrical platforms. Highstar&#8217;s technology integrates cathode, anode, electrolyte and separator development with structural approaches including tabless current collection, precision pressure relief and directional venting. </p>

<p>The full-chain architecture is designed to reduce selection and integration complexity for power equipment suppliers, system integrators and data center operators. It also provides a common foundation for joint validation and application-specific development across AIDC power architectures. </p>
