È quanto emerge dallo studio internazionale Beauty Bias in Butterfly Conservation and Research, pubblicato sulla rivista Current Biology.

SUWANEE, Ga., Aug. 31, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Global Tier-1 automotive supplier YFORE Technology showcased its advanced Ultra-Wideband (UWB) radar sensing portfolio and expanded multi-scenario applications at its Suwanee, Georgia facility. Powered by proprietary high-precision algorithms, YFORE enables versatile multi-functionality from vehicle UWB hardware across in-cabin safety, vehicle access, and automated parking.

Full-Coverage In-Cabin Life Protection

Unaffected by optical line-of-sight limitations, YFORE’s UWB In-Cabin Monitoring System utilizes high-penetration pulse signals to detect subtle micro-breathing for Child Presence Detection (CPD). With a life-detection rate exceeding 99% and signal leakage through windows kept under 20 cm, the system reliably prevents false triggers while meeting Euro NCAP safety standards (<13s response time). In parallel, the UWB Occupant Detection System determines multi-target spatial coordinates to report exact passenger counts for emergency eCall response. YFORE also showcased its Occupant & Driver Monitoring System (ODMS), which fuses radar with smart vision mirrors to eliminate visual blind spots behind seats.

Smart Interaction & Vehicle Sentry Security

The portfolio expands UWB radar capabilities to vehicle exterior scenarios:

Seamless Bumper-Integrated Parking Assistance

The UWB Parking Assistance System accurately identifies parallel, perpendicular, and angled parking spaces while detecting low-profile obstacles and filtering ground clutter. Operating invisibly behind bumper panels, it enables a clean, sensor-cutout-free vehicle exterior without relying on conventional ultrasonic sensors.

Western China’s Melody: Chinese Folk Traditions Meet HEDEGAARD’s Modern Electronica

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

CHONGQING, China, Aug. 31, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Western China’s Melody is a cross-cultural music documentary co-created by the Western China International Communication Organization (WCICO) and Danish producer HEDEGAARD. Filmed across ten cities and ten ethnic groups, including Han, Tujia, Tibetan, Yi, Mongolian, Yugur, Hui, Zhuang, Dong, and Dai, the production team conducted immersive fieldwork, documenting endangered music traditions such as Adu High-Pitched Melody, Mongolian Tobshur, and Xizang Layi during the 7,200-kilometer journey.

HEDEGAARD, globally celebrated as the “King of Car Audio” with over 1.7 billion streams, spent two months trekking from the sacred snow-capped plateaus of Qinghai-Xizang to the tropical rainforests of Xishuangbanna. “I didn’t want to ‘use’ these sounds,” he shared. “I wanted to listen until they trusted me with their soul.” Guided by WCICO director Feng Xiaolou, he immersed himself in everyday life, learning ancient instruments and vocal techniques from heritage bearers in fields and by fire pits while preserving each tradition’s authenticity and cultural integrity.

This philosophy shaped the ten-episode series and companion album KINΔ, named to evoke both “China” and “kin,” or family. Three signature tracks exemplify this approach: Drumroll re-imagines Tujia Luo’er Tunes as an anthem of resilience. Monolith transforms Xizang’s Layi love song into a universal meditation on enduring love. Dancing with My Destiny features Cloudward Dong Angels’ pure harmonies floating over atmospheric synth pads. As art critic Xue Jinwen observed, the project “replaces cultural extraction with equal dialogue.”

The resonance traveled far. Within weeks of its July 27 global release, the documentary amassed over 25.8 million overseas views, with standout clips trending across Europe and Southeast Asia while the companion album topped niche electronic charts. The journey also culminated in a July 26 live concert (“Magnificent Land, Melody of Western China – Night of International Musical Story”) at Chongqing’s Guotai Art Center. HEDEGAARD performed alongside Tianqin players, Mongolian throat singers, and Dong children. Traditional instruments and voices met real-time electronic production, creating an immersive audiovisual experience that extended the film’s message from screen to shared physical space.

From village courtyards to international screens and stages, Western China’s Melody demonstrates that cultural exchange thrives not on cultural extraction but on mutual respect and humble curiosity. It offers a replicable model for telling local stories with global resonance, proving that when traditions are heard on their own terms, they naturally find new ears, new rhythms, and renewed life.

Style3D Advances Fashion AI from Content Generation to Connected Product Workflows

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

MUNICH, GERMANY – Media OutReach Newswire – 31 August 2026 – Style3D connects generative AI, 3D technology, and structured product data to help fashion teams move from ideas to connected workflows across design, development, content, and production.

One example is GarmageNet, developed by Style3D Research with Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. Published in ACM Transactions on Graphics and presented at SIGGRAPH Asia 2025, it addresses a central fashion-AI challenge: connecting 2D patterns with 3D garment forms.

The framework captures pattern outlines, 3D geometry, and sewing information in a unified representation. It can use text, sketches, images, patterns, or point clouds as inputs, then generate structured assets, reconstruct sewing relationships, and initialize physical simulation for design exploration, digital sampling, and editing. By linking inputs with patterns, sewing relationships, and simulation, GarmageNet illustrates how fashion AI can become part of a connected product-development workflow rather than remain an isolated image-generation tool.

GarmageNet is supported by GarmageSet, a dataset of 14,801 professionally created garments. In the paper’s evaluations, GarmageJigsaw achieved 99.16% precision and 97.13% recall in sewing-point identification. GarmageNet achieved a 91.41% simulation-initialization success rate on 150 complex patterns, with reported inference time of approximately eight seconds per garment under the study’s test conditions.

The research reflects Style3D’s foundation in deformable-object simulation, garment deformation, digital fabrics, and AI-assisted workflows. Style3D maintains a substantial, dedicated R&D organization, and had published more than 30 papers at conferences including SIGGRAPH, SIGGRAPH Asia, CVPR, NeurIPS, and 3DV.

As of 28 July 2026, Style3D held 106 granted patents worldwide, including 58 invention patents and 12 granted in Europe and the United States, with a further 155 invention patent applications pending. It also operates an overseas R&D center in Germany.

Style3D’s AI and 3D technologies are already being applied across diverse customer workflows. German menswear brand OLYMP uses Style3D and Assyst to connect 2D patterns, 3D simulation, visualization, and digital showrooms. The company reports developing styles in days rather than weeks, reducing physical samples and improving communication across design, sales, and production.

As Style3D CEO Eric Liu told Just Style, “The most important development is the agent. We use agents to link different skills.” Style3D is advancing a connected fashion workflow in which AI agents can coordinate product data, 3D design, simulation, content creation, and production preparation—while human teams retain creative and operational responsibility.

From Selling Goods to Telling Stories: How A Documentary Turns Trade into Cultural Dialogue

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

HANGZHOU, China, Aug. 31, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The documentary series Cross-Border E-Commerce: Stories from China, produced by Hangzhou International Communication Center in partnership with China (Hangzhou) Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area, has garnered over 8.35 million views on international platforms since its July release. It captures a profound shift: enterprises are evolving from selling goods to telling stories. Each product becomes a vessel for cross-cultural conversation.

The series profiles vivid cases that illustrate this transformation. A fishing rod made with aerospace-grade carbon fiber wins over Australian anglers through months of on-site testing and co-creation with local fishing associations. A pink toolbox, originally meant for hardware, is repurposed as a Mother’s Day gift in North America, showing how understanding local lifestyles can turn a utility item into an emotional token. A rotating chair goes viral after a 14-million-view short video, selling 80,000 units in two months – thanks to a supply chain that delivers 90% of U.S. orders within two days. Another brand spends eight months developing cooling bedding for hot sleepers, proving patience and consumer insight matter more than speed.

Behind these stories lies Hangzhou’s decade-long ecosystem: since 2015, the city’s cross-border e-commerce trade volume has grown 1,266-fold, and seller numbers from 200 to over 65,000. The documentary shows how digital trade lowers barriers, enabling small and medium-sized enterprises to compete globally, build their own brands, and command pricing power. It also highlights emerging trends – AI-powered “one-person companies” using intelligent agents to handle design, marketing, and customer service; and bonded warehouses doubling as live-streaming studios to bring transparency and efficiency to global logistics.

Experts interviewed in the film emphasize that compliance is no longer optional but a passport to sustainable growth, while physical clusters like Alibaba Center turn “upstairs and downstairs into upstream and downstream,” integrating entire industry chain in one space. The documentary even extends to Paris, where Hangzhou’s enterprises and platforms have introduced over 3,500 French brands to China, and where an overseas warehouse enables three-day global delivery.

As scholars note, products convey professionalism, respect, and responsibility through design, quality, and service. Trade becomes daily life, daily life becomes stories, and stories become bridges connecting the world. In an era where e-commerce reshapes global economies, Hangzhou’s experience offers a replicable model that commerce, when rooted in cultural empathy and innovation, can be the most authentic form of international communication.

Yarbo Brings the M Series to Life at IFA 2026, From CES Prototype to Real Product, in Your Hands

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

BERLIN, Aug. 31, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Yarbo is raising the bar of professional yard care through modular innovation, making smart, multifunctional, effortless care accessible to every home. From September 4 to 8, Yarbo will bring its expanding portfolio of modular yard robots to IFA 2026, where the final version of the M Series will make its first offline public appearance. Designed for standard residential yards, the M Series brings intelligent yard care to a broader range of homes. Together with the Y Series, engineered for large properties, Yarbo’s modular platform now serves yards of different sizes and a growing range of applications, from mowing and snow clearing to leaf collection and more.

M Series: Compact by Design, Capable by Nature

With a smaller footprint and simplified setup, the M Series is designed to lower the barrier to yard automation while making outdoor maintenance simpler and more adaptable.

Compact Size. Sure-footed. Strong Performance. The M Series features a more compact form factor, allowing for greater flexibility in deployment. Its tracked chassis provides stable traction across wet grass, dirt, stone pavers, and mixed surfaces, while supporting slopes of up to approximately 35°/70% grade and steps or edges of around 2 inches (5 cm). Together, these capabilities provide reliable mobility and performance across complex outdoor environments. The M Series also offers a light-duty towing capacity of up to approximately 220 lbs (100 kg), allowing it to pull small carts, tools, and future accessories.

Set Up, Charge, Finish — All Faster. With Data Center Gen2, NetRTK, and optional LiDAR, the M Series requires no traditional boundary wires and can complete initial placement, mapping, and basic setup in approximately 30 minutes. Its high-speed wireless charging system can recharge from 10% to 90% in around 65 minutes, while auto-charging and task-resume functionality help the M20/M20i mow up to 1.5 acres per day, delivering a seamless and effortless experience for users.

Bringing Intelligent Yard Care Solutions to More Homes

Yarbo’s vision has always been to bring automation to yard work traditionally done by hand. It started with Yarbo’s first robotic snow blower, turning the once-futuristic idea of autonomous snow clearing into reality.

From there, Yarbo set out to take yard automation beyond a single task. Its “1+N” modular approach brings mowing, snow clearing, leaf collection and more onto one robotic platform, with one universal Core pairing with interchangeable modules for different yard-care needs. Yarbo is actively advancing this shift, helping shape a new direction for year-round yard maintenance.

The market response has also reflected the appeal of this modular approach. This year, the M Series raised over $3.6 million from 850 backers through crowdfunding, underscoring growing demand for more versatile, multi-purpose yard-care solutions.

Divertimento e gioco nell’area dello stand

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

MUNICH, Aug. 31, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The European Society of Cardiology Congress (ESC Congress 2026), one of the world’s most influential academic gatherings in cardiovascular medicine, officially kicked off today in Munich, Germany. Huawei showcased its latest innovations in health and fitness, offering an exclusive sneak peek at its next-generation ambulatory blood pressure monitor, the HUAWEI WATCH D3, ahead of its official launch at the Huawei Innovative Product Launch in Munich on 2 September. Bridging cutting-edge academic research with everyday consumer technology, Huawei continues to demonstrate its commitment to open collaboration, connecting pioneering research with products that reshape people’s daily lives.

A Legacy of Persistence, A Leap Forward

Huawei’s journey in blood pressure monitoring technology traces back to 2014, when the company first ventured into the sports and health domain. Over the past decade, Huawei has steadily advanced wearable health monitoring technologies to drive the evolution of the industry, from dynamic heart rate monitoring and SpO₂ tracking to ECG collection, and ultimately to blood pressure measurement.

In 2021, Huawei launched its first wrist-based ambulatory blood pressure recorder, the HUAWEI WATCH D. This device brought medical-grade blood pressure measurement capabilities to people’s wrists for the first time, securing medical device certification in multiple countries and regions, including China and the European Union. In 2024, the HUAWEI WATCH D2 was officially released, introducing 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and redefining blood pressure management.

In 2026, Huawei is set to unveil its latest achievement in blood pressure health—the next-generation HUAWEI WATCH D series. As the latest wrist-based ambulatory blood pressure recorder, the HUAWEI WATCH D3 achieves further breakthroughs across more blood pressure measurement scenarios while delivering more comprehensive health protection.

Lightweight Design, Professionalism Meets Style

To enhance comfort during extended wear, the HUAWEI WATCH D3 features further refinements in device thickness and strap weight. It will be available in three fashionable colour options inspired by “nature’s healing”—designed not only for comfort but also as a stylish everyday accessory, seamlessly blending in with diverse lifestyles and sports scenarios.

Broader Scenarios, Richer Health Insights

The HUAWEI WATCH D3 ensures accurate blood pressure measurement at elevated heart rates. It accurately records blood pressure data before and after exercise, provides recommendations on appropriate exercise intensity, and helps users develop good fitness habits. Furthermore, the HUAWEI WATCH D3 has been certified by CE MDR in the European Union, with its certification scope covering single blood pressure measurements, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, and pre- and post-exercise blood pressure measurements. Newly added features include blood pressure measurement reminders for high-altitude environments and sudden temperature changes, ensuring users never miss a critical monitoring check.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

MELBOURNE, Australia, Aug. 31, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — SIBIONICS showcased its sensor innovation and AI-powered glucose monitoring at the joint IDF-WPR, ADC and Metabolic Diseases 2026 congress, held in Melbourne from 18–21 August. Through Booth #1, a scientific symposium and on-site interviews with Credentialled Diabetes Educators (CDEs), the company brought together advanced technology, clinical evidence and real-world perspectives.

The technology story behind GS3 begins far beyond glucose monitoring. SIBIONICS’ work in brain–computer interfaces includes a retinal prosthesis designed to provide limited visual perception for people with profound vision loss caused by outer retinal degenerative diseases, such as retinitis pigmentosa. These high-complexity systems require precise, stable biosensing and robust signal processing. SIBIONICS has translated this high-threshold engineering into a more widely accessible medical technology: continuous glucose monitoring. The same platform capability now supports GS3, a factory-calibrated, 14-day CGM sensor with a 2.9 mm profile, designed to provide reliable monitoring with a low on-body burden.

At the symposium “Beyond Glucose: The Integrated Future of CGM, CKM, and AI in Diabetes,” jointly hosted by SIBIONICS and Air Liquide Healthcare, session chair Professor Sofianos Andrikopoulos, Group CEO of the Australian Diabetes Society, brought together three perspectives. Professor David O’Neal, University of Melbourne and Deputy Director of the Australian Centre for Accelerating Diabetes Innovations, reviewed emerging clinical evidence for continuous glucose and ketone monitoring. Associate Professor Shannon Lin, a diabetes and nutrition specialist at the University of Technology Sydney, examined how CGM can move beyond data visibility toward personalised, predictive and actionable support. Professor Wei Qiang, Associate Chief Physician and Deputy Director of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University, outlined an integrated, AI-driven ecosystem connecting trusted sensing, context and learning.

Throughout the congress, physicians and diabetes educators visited the SIBIONICS booth to experience GS3 and discuss its glucose-management capabilities. In anonymised interviews, CDEs described the sensor as small, light, comfortable and easy to set up. They saw particular potential in AI-supported spike detection, easier meal logging and food analysis that connects glucose trends with meal context. Their feedback also highlighted the importance of personalisation, clear carbohydrate estimates and clinically useful event timelines—reinforcing that AI should extend education and decision support, not replace professional care.

Looking ahead, SIBIONICS plans to integrate its sensing platform with continuous ketone monitoring, insulin delivery, AI and other diabetes technologies. The goal is a richer, reliable and efficient ecosystem that shortens the path from data to understanding—and from understanding to action.

These solutions demonstrate CHINT’s focus on helping customers enhance grid performance while responding to the industry’s increasing emphasis on environmental sustainability.

As Europe’s power system continues to evolve, the need for flexible and rapidly deployable solutions for energy storage and renewable energy integration is growing. Against this backdrop, CHINT showcased its 13.8 MW PCS Integrated Substation at CIGRE 2026, offering a compact and integrated approach for large-scale energy storage and renewable energy applications. With a plug-and-play, turnkey design, the solution reduces on-site installation work and space requirements while supporting faster deployment and grid response. Its integrated configuration helps reduce system losses, while its oil-free design minimizes the risk of oil leakage, pollution and noise, supporting more efficient and reliable energy storage and grid applications.

CHINT also showcased cascading energy storage systems, solid-state transformers (SSTs), solid-state circuit breakers (SSCBs) and Data Center Power Pods. Together, these solutions reflect CHINT’s ability to provide technologies across different stages of the power system — from high-voltage transmission and substations to distribution, storage and end-use applications.

Supporting Europe’s Energy Transition with Local Expertise

Technology is only one part of successful grid modernization. Understanding local market requirements and working closely with customers throughout the project lifecycle are equally important.

CHINT has continued to strengthen its presence across Europe, combining its global technology and engineering capabilities with localized teams and service capabilities.

“As the age of AI, renewable energy and electrification reshape Europe’s power landscape, customers are increasingly looking for partners that can deliver integrated, reliable and future-ready power solutions rather than standalone products,” said Beibei Zheng, Vice President of CHINT Global.

“At CHINT, we see this transformation as an opportunity to drive innovation and create value for our customers. Leveraging our full-stack power value chain, we deliver integrated solutions that support more reliable, efficient and sustainable power infrastructure for the AI era. From next-generation technologies such as solid-state transformers and solid-state circuit breakers to cascading storage solutions, our focus is not only on delivering innovative products, but also on supporting customers to build resilient and future-ready infrastructure for the AI era.”

During CIGRE 2026, CHINT’s engineering specialists engaged with utilities, EPC contractors, consultants and technology partners to discuss applications including high-voltage transmission, substation modernization, sustainable power distribution, energy storage and power supply for data centers.

Innovation Supporting a More Flexible Power System

The modernization of Europe’s grids is also driving continued innovation in power technologies. “CHINT delivers a comprehensive power supply solution for the rapidly growing data center market, anchored by integrated substation capabilities spanning from 400 kV transmission interfaces through medium-voltage distribution,” said Dr. Naihu Li, Vice President of CHINT T&D and Head of the CHINT Group R&D Institute.

“These solutions are designed around modular, rapid-deployment architectures, enabling infrastructure developers to build realistic and accelerated project timelines. Battery energy storage is seamlessly integrated within these substation packages—an increasingly critical capability as grid operators contend with peak demand management and frequency response requirements. Complementing this, CHINT also offers prefabricated, module-based power supply systems purpose-built for data center application.”

The rapid growth of AI and data centers is creating new requirements for power systems, accelerating the need for innovation across the power sector. As electricity demand and grid requirements continue to evolve, customers are looking for technologies that can deliver greater reliability, flexibility and scalability.

For CHINT, this underscores the importance of continuous innovation — developing advanced power solutions that are flexible, reliable and scalable, while helping customers respond to the changing demands of today’s and tomorrow’s power systems.

Customer Perspective: Power Solutions for a Changing Grid

As Europe’s power system becomes more complex, customers are placing greater emphasis on reliability, scalability and long-term performance.

“CHINT has proven to be a reliable and capable partner in addressing the evolving requirements of the power sector,” said a CHINT customer. “What stands out is CHINT’s ability to bring together technology, engineering expertise and project support to deliver solutions that are both practical and scalable. This gives us confidence that we can respond not only to today’s grid requirements, but also to the changing needs of the power system in the years ahead.”

PISTOIESE FC: Giuliani, Tavanti, Gennari, Rossi (1’st Accardi) Motti, Saporetti (38’st Oboe), Contini (25’pt Luperini) Della Latta, Maldonado, (22’st Campagna), Manzoni (1’st Calia). A disp.: Bosi, Mennini, Ribello, Matteoni.All.: Bisoli
SCANDICCI: Brilli, Bertelli (49’pt Orselli), Dodaro, Tacconi, Matteucci, Valentini, Guidorizzi, Viligiardi (13’st Chiaverini), Arrighini, Guidelli (13’st Tellini), Toci (34’st Perrone). A disp.: Pepe, Andreucci, Ducci, Fiaschi.All.: Taccola
ARBITRO: Rashed di Imola (Dri di Reggio Emilia e Marino di Parma)
RETI: 43’pt Della Latta, 3’st Saporetti, 40’st Campagna
NOTE: Ammoniti Viligiardi, Manzoni e Saporetti

Marco Simiani: “Che partenza fantastica!

Giacomo Termine: “Una partenza bellissima!
