La Regione Toscana ha approvato gli indirizzi per il dimensionamento della rete scolastica in vista dell’anno 2027-28. Il provvedimento della Giunta, passaggio richiesto dalla normativa nazionale, mantiene invariato l’attuale assetto regionale, confermando le 450 autonomie scolastiche esistenti.

La delibera esclude l’obbligo di accorpamento o fusione per gli istituti del territorio. Tuttavia, le Province e la Città Metropolitana avranno la facoltà di proporre unioni volontarie tra le scuole del primo o del secondo ciclo. In questo caso, per mantenere fisso il numero complessivo a 450, ogni richiesta di fusione dovrà essere accompagnata, pena la bocciatura, dalla contestuale proposta per la costituzione di una nuova istituzione scolastica, indicandone sede direttiva e plessi coinvolti.

Il testo tutela esplicitamente alcune realtà: sono esclusi dalle fusioni i Centri provinciali per l’istruzione degli adulti (CPIA), l’Educandato di Firenze e le scuole situate nei comuni classificati come ‘aree interne periferiche o ultra-periferiche’.

L’iter amministrativo prevede ora il passaggio alle Conferenze zonali per l’educazione e l’istruzione, alle Province e alla Città Metropolitana, che dovranno definire i piani locali. I documenti torneranno poi in Regione per l’approvazione definitiva del piano regionale, attesa entro il 26 ottobre per rispettare la scadenza nazionale fissata al 31 dello stesso mese.

Il numero di 450 autonomie in Toscana per il triennio 2027-2030 è stabilito dal decreto interministeriale 118 del 25 giugno 2026, che fissa la dotazione organica di dirigenti scolastici e funzionari (ex DSGA). Il presidente Eugenio Giani ha definito la delibera regionale “un passaggio amministrativo necessario e non un piano di tagli”. L’assessora all’Istruzione, Alessandra Nardini, ha accolto positivamente lo stop alla riduzione delle autonomie, pur ribadendo le critiche al Governo per i tagli subiti nel triennio precedente e per la mancanza di chiarezza nei criteri di assegnazione del contingente nazionale.

Secondo i dati dell’Ente Bilaterale del Turismo del Lazio (EBTL), il periodo attorno a Ferragosto registra a Roma oltre 662 mila arrivi (+1,86%) e circa 1,7 milioni di presenze (+1,87%), a coronamento di un primo semestre già chiuso a quota 10,9 milioni di arrivi. 

In questo scenario di sviluppo per la ricettività d’alta gamma, il comparto benessere si affianca al settore camere come leva diretta di ricavo. A tracciare il bilancio operativo è Sabrina Andriaccio, Manager V SPA ROMA e Area Manager Lazio per BF Wellness, la società di SPA Management a capo dell’oasi di 800 mq della V SPA Roma all’interno dell’Urban Resort Hotel Villa Pamphili. 

«I dati dell’EBTL, così come quelli di Roma trovano riscontro diretto nella nostra operatività. La tenuta dei flussi turistici in città ci ha permesso di registrare un incremento degli incassi complessivi del +35% rispetto all’estate precedente. È proprio dal lavoro svolto nelle cabine massaggi che è arrivata la spinta principale per i ricavi. D’estate il turista che rientra in struttura dopo aver visitato la città richiede interventi mirati per il recupero fisico. 

«L’85% degli ospiti entrati in SPA ha prenotato almeno un trattamento cabina, prediligendo massaggi defaticanti, percorsi drenanti e rituali viso-corpo idratanti doposole. Questo ha portato a un aumento dello scontrino medio dell’8% e a una saturazione delle cabine dell’82%. Inoltre, per garantire una risposta efficace anche nei giorni di afa, la presenza della nostra piscina fredda d’estate contro il caldo si è rivelata determinante per tonificare i tessuti e donare immediato sollievo», prosegue Sabrina Andriaccio. 

Sul posizionamento di una struttura d’albergo tra le SPA migliori di Roma e sulla distribuzione dei flussi tra ospiti dell’hotel e residenti, Andriaccio spiega: «L’eccellenza passa dalla capacità di modulare l’offerta sui ritmi dell’ospite. In estate la composizione del target vede una prevalenza netta della clientela d’albergo. Clientela estera ma anche Italiana, anche il romano stesso “in vacanza nella sua città”. Questo riequilibrio stagionale garantisce continuità di lavoro alle cabine anche nei mesi più caldi». 

Per quanto riguarda le leve gestionali adottate da BF Wellness per valorizzare il reparto benessere all’interno di una struttura ricettiva, Sabrina Andriaccio sottolinea: «Il modello BF Wellness si basa sull’applicazione di criteri organizzativi trasparenti e misurabili. Invece di considerare la SPA come un semplice servizio accessorio, la gestiamo attraverso una programmazione attenta del calendario e delle risorse. RACCOLTA PORTA A PORTA

Il servizio di raccolta porta a porta nella maggioranza dei comuni serviti già non prevede alcun passaggio nella giornata del sabato. Solo a Fucecchio, Monsummano, Vicchio, Barberino Tavarnelle, Serravalle Pistoiese e Vinci, il servizio di ritiro porta a porta di supporti sanitari (pannolini e pannoloni), abitualmente previsto al sabato, verrà recuperato domenica 16 agosto. A Greve in Chianti, invece, sempre domenica 16 agosto, verrà recuperato il ritiro porta a porta dell’organico, che per Ferragosto non verrà effettuato, mentre a Pescia e a San Casciano in Val di Pesa verrà recuperato il ritiro di carta e cartone.

Per le aree in cui il sistema di gestione rifiuti funziona tramite cassonetto stradale, il servizio di svuotamento, nella giornata del 15 agosto, sarà erogato fino al 50% di quanto pianificato abitualmente.

Sempre a Ferragosto il servizio di spazzamento, sia manuale che meccanizzato, sarà dimensionato in funzione delle caratteristiche delle aree interessate. Verrà, quindi, regolarmente effettuato nei centri storici dei Comuni a elevato interesse turistico, oltreché in occasione di manifestazioni, mercati ed eventi previsti nel corso della giornata, così da garantire il decoro delle aree interessate.

Una scossa di terremoto di magnitudo 3.7 è stata registrata nella mattinata di mercoledì 12 agosto lungo la costa Toscana settentrionale. In base alle rilevazioni dell’Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (Ingv), il movimento tellurico si è verificato alle ore 10,57. L’epicentro è stato localizzato a una profondità di 9 chilometri (alle coordinate 43.66 di latitudine e 10.19 di longitudine), in un’area marittima che interessa le province di Massa Carrara, Lucca e Pisa.

Il sisma è stato avvertito in maniera distinta in gran parte della fascia costiera. Le segnalazioni della popolazione si sono concentrate in particolar modo nella città di Livorno e nell’area della Versilia. Al momento le autorità sono in attesa di ulteriori comunicazioni e dettagli ufficiali da parte degli esperti dell’Ingv.

L’evento odierno segue a breve distanza un altro episodio sismico avvenuto nella stessa regione. Soltanto pochi giorni fa, il 4 agosto, una scossa di magnitudo 4.3 aveva colpito la provincia di Pisa, con epicentro localizzato nella zona di San Piero a Grado. In quell’occasione, l’intensità del terremoto aveva generato numerose chiamate ai centralini dei Vigili del Fuoco e aveva richiesto l’interruzione temporanea della circolazione ferroviaria per permettere i necessari controlli di sicurezza sui binari. Nonostante lo spavento, l’evento del 4 agosto si era concluso senza alcun danno a persone o strutture.

Per il capitano Giuseppe Cossu, il valore dell’ottavo titolo va ben oltre i cinque componenti della formazione salita sul gradino più alto del podio a Cumiana.

Il nuovo primato viene vissuto dalla squadra anche con grande rispetto per la storia della disciplina. «Superare un record condiviso con squadre leggendarie come Sinapsi ed Ex3mo è per noi motivo di enorme orgoglio, ma anche di grande rispetto verso chi ha scritto la storia di questa disciplina prima di noi. Adesso vogliamo trasformare questo ottavo titolo in un nuovo punto di partenza. Il prossimo obiettivo è rappresentare al meglio l’Italia sulla scena internazionale». 

Il successo nel Campionato Italiano 2026 non rappresenta infatti un punto d’arrivo. Al contrario, apre una nuova fase della stagione per Amnesya Fly X, chiamato ora a misurarsi con i migliori team del panorama internazionale. 

Il titolo conquistato a Cumiana rappresenta il passaggio sportivo verso la rappresentanza italiana nei prossimi grandi appuntamenti mondiali. Il primo è in programma in Arizona nell’ottobre 2026, mentre il successivo appuntamento mondiale è previsto in Brasile nell’agosto 2027. 

Dopo aver scritto una nuova pagina della storia del paracadutismo italiano, l’obiettivo della formazione è quindi portare il Tricolore e la maglia azzurra ai massimi livelli internazionali. 

A ospitare il Campionato Italiano è stato lo Sky Dream Center di Cumiana, realtà ormai consolidata nel panorama del paracadutismo sportivo, grazie alla costante attività e alla capacità di formare e far crescere paracadutisti e atleti di livello internazionale. 

A rendere ancora più suggestiva l’edizione 2026 è stato lo scenario naturale nel quale si sono svolti i lanci. Ai piedi delle Alpi e con il Monviso sullo sfondo, gli atleti hanno gareggiato in una delle cornici più spettacolari del panorama paracadutistico italiano. 

Per Amnesya Fly X, Cumiana resterà soprattutto il luogo di un risultato storico: otto Campionati Italiani consecutivi, otto anni al vertice e un primato che supera quelli delle leggendarie Sinapsi ed Ex3mo. 

Ora, archiviato lo scudetto numero otto, comincia una nuova sfida. Questa volta con i colori dell’Italia.

La quota principale dell’investimento, pari a oltre 3,5 milioni di euro, è destinata alla prevenzione degli allagamenti tra i comuni di Pistoia e Quarrata. L’intervento prevede la creazione di due casse di espansione, bacini artificiali progettati per raccogliere l’acqua in eccesso durante i fenomeni piovosi intensi. La prima opera, del valore di 2.215.000 euro, riguarderà il riassetto del reticolo idraulico minore dell’Ombrone Pistoiese. La cassa sarà divisa in due lotti situati tra la frazione di Barba e la zona di Bottegone, con una capacità di 16,5 milioni di litri. La seconda struttura sorgerà a Quarrata, sempre in località Barba, per gestire le acque del Fosso Ombroncello: in questo caso lo stanziamento ammonta a 1.315.000 euro per un invaso in grado di contenere 22,5 milioni di litri. I lavori, coordinati dal Genio Civile tramite il Consorzio di Bonifica 3 Medio Valdarno, inizieranno entro dodici mesi e dureranno circa un anno.

Il sottosegretario alla presidenza della Regione, Bernard Dika, ha delineato l’impatto di queste due opere centrali: “Finalmente Pistoia e tutta la Piana Pistoiese saranno più sicure. Complessivamente, quasi 40 milioni di litri d’acqua che, in caso di forti piogge, potranno essere trattenuti evitando che si riversino sul territorio”. Il sottosegretario ha inquadrato lo stanziamento come il raggiungimento di un obiettivo fissato a inizio mandato, aggiungendo che “la sicurezza si costruisce prima delle emergenze, investendo sulla prevenzione”.

Il piano regionale include anche una serie di cantieri per la manutenzione degli argini in altri comuni della provincia. A Buggiano, il Consorzio 4 Basso Valdarno utilizzerà 225mila euro per ripristinare la sponda destra del torrente Cessana nel tratto a valle della ferrovia. Lo stesso ente interverrà sull’argine sinistro del torrente Pescia di Collodi con 116mila euro. Ad Agliana, invece, 100mila euro copriranno i costi di progettazione per un tratto della riva sinistra dell’Ombrone Pistoiese situato a valle del ponte Baldi, in questo caso a cura del Consorzio 3 Medio Valdarno.

Un’ultima tranche di finanziamenti è mirata al consolidamento dei versanti per proteggere la viabilità locale interessata da movimenti franosi. Al Comune di Pistoia andranno 370mila euro per via Saturnana (in località Le Grazie) e 40mila euro per gli studi geotecnici necessari lungo via dell’Orsigna (località Le Volte). Completano il quadro del piano regionale i 70mila euro assegnati a Massa e Cozzile per mettere in sicurezza via Trito e i 59mila euro per via Cotoro, nel territorio di Marliana.

LIMBURGERHOF, Germany, Aug. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — BASF Agricultural Solutions is investing a low double-digit million-euro amount in a new Climate Center at its headquarters in Limburgerhof, Germany. The purpose-built facility will strengthen the company’s research and regulatory capabilities and support the generation of scientific data required for the registration of crop protection products worldwide. 

Construction of the Climate Center has already started and is scheduled to be completed in the first half of 2027. Once operational, the facility will house state-of-the-art climate chambers designed to provide precisely controlled environmental conditions for scientific studies. The investment responds to increasing regulatory requirements and rising demand for high-quality, Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)-compliant ecotoxicology studies.

FIRENZE – Più risorse per ridurre le liste d’attesa nelle Rsa, nuovi strumenti per prevenire la fragilità e una rete di servizi integrati sempre più vicina alle persone e alle famiglie. È la strategia con cui la Regione Toscana affronta la sfida dell’invecchiamento demografico, mettendo in campo un pacchetto di interventi approvati dalla giunta che rafforzano il welfare territoriale e accompagnano la persona anziana lungo tutto il percorso di vita.

Tra le misure di maggiore rilievo c’è lo stanziamento di 10 milioni di euro aggiuntivi per aumentare gli inserimenti nelle Residenze sanitarie assistenziali (Rsa). Si aggiunge il nuovo programma Sostegno Fragilità Anziani, che garantisce un intervento rapido quando una persona con più di 70 anni affronta un momento di fragilità, con visite domiciliari, orientamento e supporto nella ricerca di assistenti familiari qualificati. Completa il pacchetto l’approvazione delle Linee guida per la prescrizione sociale, un nuovo modello di prevenzione che consente ai professionisti della salute di orientare le persone verso attività culturali, volontariato e relazioni di comunità, riconoscendo che la salute dipende anche dalle condizioni sociali e relazionali.

“Con questi provvedimenti – sottolinea il presidente della Regione, Eugenio Giani – cerchiamo di rispondere ad alcune delle delle questioni più sentite dalle persone anziane non autosufficienti e dalle loro famiglie. Inoltre avviamo un percorso che renderà la programmazione delle Rsa più equa, superando i vecchi budget storici per renderla coerente con la reale distribuzione della popolazione anziana e con l’evoluzione dei bisogni nei territori”

L’obiettivo è mettere davvero la persona al centro, integrando sanità, sociale e le risorse di comunità presenti nei territori“.

Il primo intervento riguarda l’assistenza residenziale. La giunta regionale ha destinato 10 milioni di euro aggiuntivi per il 2026 agli inserimenti nelle Residenze Sanitarie Assistenziali (Rsa) di persone ultra65enni non autosufficienti con Piano Assistenziale Individualizzato (Pao). La misura nasce dal monitoraggio delle liste d’attesa nelle Zone Distretto e nelle Società della Salute, che ha evidenziato la necessità di rafforzare l’offerta.

Con questo incremento, la dotazione complessiva 2026 per Rsa e Centri Diurni sale a 244,05 milioni di euro. Il provvedimento avvia inoltre la riorganizzazione dell’offerta specialistica e fissa per il 2027 una dotazione complessiva di 276,05 milioni di euro, che includerà anche 12 milioni previsti dal Patto per il Welfare per l’adeguamento contrattuale dei lavoratori delle cooperative sociali e del settore.

Altra misura significativa l’avvio dallo scorso 1 luglio del programma triennale Sostegno Fragilità Anziani – Una Rete di Prossimità, finanziato con 12,8 milioni di euro. Evoluzione dell’esperienza del Pronto Badante, il servizio si rivolge agli over 70 che affrontano per la prima volta un momento di fragilità.

Attraverso il numero unico regionale 055.4383000, il sistema garantisce un intervento rapido entro 24-48 ore, con visite domiciliari, orientamento e supporto pratico per la ricerca di assistenti familiari qualificati. Tra le misure previste, anche un contributo una tantum di 300 euro (erogato tramite Libretto Famiglia Inps) per coprire fino a 30 ore di assistenza regolare a domicilio.

Nel primo mese di attivazione ci sono già state 1507 telefonate al numero unico regionale con conseguenti 725 attivazioni di progetti.

La Toscana compie un passo avanti anche sul fronte della prevenzione con l’approvazione delle Linee guida per la prescrizione sociale, uno strumento di integrazione sociosanitaria che consente ai professionisti della salute e del sociale di orientare le persone verso attività, servizi e risorse presenti nella comunità, riconoscendole come parte integrante dei percorsi di salute e benessere.

La prescrizione sociale consentirà ai professionisti della sanità e del sociale di orientare le persone verso attività motorie, culturali, di volontariato e partecipazione civica, riconoscendo il valore che queste esperienze hanno nella promozione della salute e nella prevenzione della fragilità e della solitudine.

Non-GAAP Financial Measures 

To supplement Quantinuum’s condensed consolidated financial statements presented in accordance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (“GAAP”), the Company uses the following non-GAAP financial measures presented in this release: Adjusted Gross Profit, Adjusted Gross Margin, Adjusted Net Loss, fully distributed, Adjusted EBITDA, and Adjusted Net Loss Per Share, fully distributed. 

Adjusted Gross Profit starts with GAAP gross profit and adds back equity compensation and related employer taxes attributable to cost of revenue and depreciation and amortization attributable to cost of revenue. 

Adjusted Gross Margin is calculated as Adjusted Gross Profit divided by revenue, net. 

Adjusted Net Loss, fully distributed starts with GAAP net loss on an as-converted basis, adds back GAAP income tax expense, adjusts for equity compensation and related employer taxes, costs of the initial public offering and the transition to public company reporting, the change in fair value of liability-classified warrants, and loss on disposal and write down of assets, and then applies an assumed statutory tax rate to the resulting adjusted pre-tax loss. No tax benefit is recognized in respect of losses subject to a full valuation allowance, and accordingly no tax benefit is reflected in the periods presented. 

Adjusted EBITDA starts with Adjusted Net Loss, fully distributed, and further excludes interest income, net, depreciation, and amortization of acquired intangibles. 

Adjusted Net Loss Per Share, fully distributed is calculated as Adjusted Net Loss, fully distributed, divided by adjusted shares, fully distributed, basic and diluted, comprising weighted-average Class A common shares outstanding and Common Units of Quantinuum Holdings. 

Management believes these measures provide investors with additional information useful in evaluating the Company’s operating performance and trends across periods. Quantinuum’s results include large non-cash charges that do not reflect the cost of operating the business in the period, principally stock-based compensation recognized on completion of the Reorganization and remeasurement of liability-classified warrants. Under the partnership, OCI customers will be able to directly access Quantinuum’s Helios, the most accurate commercial quantum computer in the world,[1] through OCI’s quantum service, alongside OCI’s high-performance computing (HPC) and GPU infrastructure. 

Together, Quantinuum and Oracle plan to explore how hybrid quantum-AI infrastructure could address some of the most computationally intensive challenges facing enterprises and broaden access for universities and research institutions advancing scientific discovery and education. The partnership reflects a shared vision that the future of enterprise computing will be built on the convergence of AI, classical supercomputing, and quantum computing. Many complex problems across materials discovery, drug development, logistics, energy, and financial modeling already push the limits of today’s computing architectures.

The 98-physical-qubit trapped-ion system has been used in demonstrations involving 48 logical qubits and achieves an average two-qubit gate fidelity of 99.921%, exceeding the widely cited “three 9s” threshold. Helios is designed for hybrid integration with classical HPC and AI environments. 

By operating on-premises within OCI’s infrastructure, Helios is anticipated to be able to integrate seamlessly with existing OCI compute, networking, storage, identity, and data services under the same governance and access controls customers already use. Oracle plans to preview its OCI quantum service in the coming months, giving developers a streamlined way to move from simulation to execution on real quantum computing hardware. The license is a foundational step in Mews’ ambition to make its operating system the home for financial services purpose-built for hospitality, where running the business and managing its money start to come together in a single platform. 

The license gives Mews a regulated status in the European Economic Area (EEA), enabling it to unify payment services, financial workflows and operational data within a single system. Until now, the operational record has lived in Mews while the financial record has been originated in third-party systems. The EMI license allows Mews to bring both together in one place, the same place where revenue is created. It also lays the foundation for Mews to build new financial capabilities tailored for hospitality on top of its existing infrastructure.
