Il ricco calendario si apre con un appuntamento speciale dedicato a uno dei personaggi più amati della letteratura italiana: Pinocchio. L’incontro, che si terrà sabato (6 giugno) alla biblioteca San Giorgio, avrà come protagonista il primo ed unico libro a fumetti integrale dell’opera di Collodi, Pinocchio a fumetti, dell’artista Carlo Alberto Vanalesta. A rendere ancora più emozionante la giornata sarà la presenza di Andrea Balestri, volto del Pinocchio televisivo diretto da Luigi Comencini nel celebre sceneggiato del 1972.

La biblioteca San Giorgio ospiterà anche l’appuntamento con Luigi Contu, direttore dell’Ansa, che venerdì 12 presenterà il libro Domani sarà tardi, intenso racconto tra memoria familiare e storia italiana del Novecento e l’incontro con gli autori finalisti del premio Campiello, previsto per mercoledì 24.

Per quanto riguarda le iniziative diffuse sul territorio, è atteso il ritorno dell’amata Dragocicletta, la biblioteca itinerante che animerà, ogni mercoledì, un giardino cittadino diverso, con letture e laboratori destinati ai più piccoli.

Oltre alla letteratura, il programma presta attenzione anche all’arte contemporanea e alla rigenerazione urbana: tra i protagonisti del mese troviamo, infatti, l’artista pistoiese LdB, figura di riferimento della street art locale e realizzatore della copertina della guida agli eventi di giugno. A LdB sarà dedicata anche la mostra alla libreria Lo Spazio, aperta al pubblico da domenica 14.

Il mese è inoltre attraversato da numerose iniziative dedicate all’inclusione sociale, alla memoria storica, alla promozione della lettura nelle scuole e nei quartieri, al cinema, alla musica e alla divulgazione culturale, in linea con la natura plurale e partecipativa del progetto di Pistoia Capitale Italiana del Libro.

La relazione annuale presentata dal garante regionale dei detenuti, Giuseppe Fanfani, davanti alla commissione Sanità del Consiglio regionale guidata da Matteo Biffoni, mette a nudo un sistema penitenziario costantemente sull’orlo del collasso strutturale.

Nelle sedici strutture per adulti dislocate sul territorio toscano la densità ha raggiunto livelli insostenibili, con un tasso medio di sovraffollamento del 134,8 per cento. A fronte di 3382 persone recluse, quasi la metà è rappresentata da cittadini stranieri, mentre i servizi interni devono fare i conti con piante organiche della polizia penitenziaria sistematicamente sguarnite e inferiori alle reali necessità di vigilanza e trattamento.

La carenza di spazio si traduce in una strisciante emergenza psichiatrica. Nel corso dell’ultimo anno i penitenziari della regione hanno registrato cinque decessi per scelta volontaria, distribuiti tra Sollicciano, Massa e Pistoia. Il termometro della disperazione tra le sbarre è però misurato dall’impennata dei gesti di autolesionismo, schizzati a quota 1053 casi, ai quali si sommano 133 tentativi di farla finita e 354 scioperi della fame intrapresi come forma di protesta estrema.

Bari, 03/06/2026 – Ad aprile 2026, secondo l’ultimo report Experian, gli under 30 sono l’unica fascia demografica in crescita su tutti i prodotti di credito monitorati. Prestiti personali +43% su base annua, Buy Now Pay Later +52%, mutui +38% e prestiti finalizzati +20%. Non quindi un picco stagionale, ma un cambio strutturale di chi accede al credito e di come lo fa. 

Del resto, i dati di fine 2025 avevano già tracciato la direzione: crescita degli importi medi richiesti dalla Gen Z del +18,9% nella cessione del quinto (per una media di 14.293€), del +13,3% nei prestiti personali e del +20,1% nei prestiti finalizzati. Il CRIF, dal canto suo, segnala che l’unico segmento privato in crescita nei finanziamenti auto è proprio quello degli under 30, con un +12,3% e una preferenza netta per l’usato (45,4% dei finanziamenti, contro una media di mercato del 30,7%). 

Il BNPL: credito che finge di non esserlo
 

Tre rate da 67 euro per un paio di scarpe, altre tre per un volo, altre tre per un telefono e in un mese ci sono nove scadenze che nessuno ha sommato. Il Buy Now Pay Later funziona così: importi piccoli, accettazione istantanea, nessuna percezione di star contraendo un debito, ma i numeri raccontano un’esplosione. Secondo Banca d’Italia, l’utilizzo del BNPL è passato dal 4% delle famiglie italiane nel 2022, al 30% nel 2025, stimando transazioni per 9,9 miliardi di euro nel 2025, con un importo medio poco superiore ai 200€. Millennials e Gen Z rappresentano insieme quasi due terzi delle richieste. 

Però il problema lo ha messo nero su bianco Banca d’Italia nella nota di marzo 2026: il BNPL sta coinvolgendo fasce di popolazione finanziariamente fragili, con redditi medio-bassi, scarse risorse patrimoniali e debiti preesistenti. Il tasso di crediti deteriorati nel BNPL è del 5%, contro il 3,5% del credito al consumo tradizionale. E il 70% delle richieste viene accettato, spesso sulla base di informazioni parziali: le operazioni BNPL, ad oggi, non sono sempre segnalate ai sistemi di informazione creditizia. Chi concede il credito, in molti casi, non sa quante altre rate il richiedente stia già pagando. 

Prestiti e cessione del quinto: il credito più sicuro
 

Nei prestiti personali, la Gen Z si muove con importi contenuti: media 10.865€ per un under 30, contro i 16.338 della Gen X. Le finalità sono concrete, come l’acquisto di un’auto usata o di un corso di formazione post-universitario. Per importi più alti, si pensa a un piccolo progetto imprenditoriale o alle spese matrimoniali, e la crescita è costante. 

La cessione del quinto sta, poi, guadagnando terreno tra i giovani lavoratori dipendenti. Il meccanismo della rata fissa trattenuta dalla busta paga, massimo il 20% del netto, con assicurazione obbligatoria inclusa, offre una prevedibilità che il BNPL per definizione non ha. segnala un aumento significativo delle richieste informative dalla fascia 24-30, coerente con il trend italiano. 

La differenza tra questi strumenti e il BNPL non è solo nei numeri, ma quasi psicologica: un prestito personale o una cessione del quinto, infatti, obbligano a fare i conti prima di firmare: quanto costa? Per quanto tempo dovrò sostenere rate? Cosa succede se perdo il lavoro? Il BNPL no. E questo, per una generazione che accumula micro-rate senza averne la percezione complessiva, è il punto. 

A novembre 2026, però, entrerà in vigore la nuova direttiva europea sul credito ai consumatori (CCD2), che per la prima volta includerà anche il BNPL nel perimetro regolamentato. Valutazione più rigorosa del merito creditizio, obblighi di trasparenza rafforzati da informativa precontrattuale estesa. Per un mercato cresciuto fin qui senza quasi nessun vincolo, è un passaggio che cambierà parecchio, soprattutto per chi oggi accetta tre rate al checkout senza che nessuno gli chieda se può permettersele.

Il sindaco Giovanni Capecchi ha effettuato in mattinata un sopralluogo nelle aree più colpite per verificare di persona la gravità della situazione. Fin dalle prime luci dell’alba gli operatori della protezione civile comunale, del cantiere del Comune, della polizia municipale, dei vigili del fuoco e della Vab si sono messi al lavoro per monitorare il territorio, mettere in sicurezza le strade e ripristinare la viabilità.

I problemi maggiori sono stati causati dai corsi d’acqua. Il torrente Ombrone ha superato il livello di guardia per poi rientrare, mentre l’esondazione del torrente Brana e di altri piccoli canali ha allagato diverse zone. In via Modenese, l’esondazione di una gora ha invaso alcune abitazioni tra i numeri civici 180 e 162A. Situazione critica anche in via dei Campisanti e in via Sant’Agostino, dove l’acqua del Brana ha trascinato fango sulla carreggiata e spostato i cassonetti dei rifiuti, penetrando anche in questo caso dentro le case. Disagi e allagamenti simili si sono registrati nelle frazioni di Badia e Canapale.

La zona collinare è stata invece investita da numerosi smottamenti. Le frane hanno interessato via Pian di Bartolo, via di Pupigliana, via delle Calde e Satarelle, via Nuova di Campiglio, via di Baroglio, via Calinchi e Fabbrica, via Poggiolo e Tarole, oltre a via Prataccio di Piteccio. In via di Valdibrana e in via dei Ciatti si è verificato anche un cedimento della pavimentazione stradale, mentre detriti e legname hanno bloccato temporaneamente il transito a San Felice, nell’area del parco della Rimembranza, e in via del Pian Martelli.

Mentre proseguono i lavori di pulizia e la prima ricognizione dei danni, il Comune ha attivato il numero 0573 22022 per le segnalazioni dei cittadini. Per il ritiro dei materiali ingombranti danneggiati dall’alluvione è invece possibile contattare Alia Servizi Ambientali al numero verde 800 888333 da rete fissa, oppure ai numeri 0571 1969333 e 199 105105 da cellulare. Le istituzioni locali restano in contatto con la Regione per fare in modo che venga celermente chiesto lo stato di emergenza a Pistoia.

La partenza è fissata alle 7,30 da piazza del Duomo, nel centro storico di Pistoia, da dove i partecipanti imboccheranno la strada statale 66 in direzione della montagna. Il tracciato prevede la prima salita verso Le Piastre, che quest’anno ospiterà il traguardo di una delle novità introdotte nel programma, seguita da un tratto in discesa verso San Marcello, sede dell’arrivo intermedio della prova competitiva da 30 chilometri. Successivamente, dopo la discesa verso Mammiano, gli atleti affronteranno la durissima ascesa finale che si conclude in piazza delle Piramidi, nel cuore dell’Abetone, coprendo un dislivello positivo totale di 1.830 metri.

L’organizzazione dell’evento è curata dall’associazione sportiva dilettantistica Silvano Fedi, supportata dalla Provincia di Pistoia e dalle amministrazioni comunali di Pistoia, San Marcello Piteglio e Abetone Cutigliano. Accanto alla gara principale da 50 chilometri, il programma include diverse manifestazioni collaterali per coinvolgere appassionati di ogni livello. Tra queste figurano la Free Walking da 20 chilometri che si snoda da San Marcello all’Abetone, la traversata escursionistica notturna dal rifugio Portafranca e il Quarto traguardo, una marcia di 3 chilometri da Le Regine all’Abetone riservata alle persone con disabilità e ai loro accompagnatori, realizzata in stretta sinergia con l’ente del terzo settore Regalami un sorriso.

L’appuntamento di fine giugno rappresenterà un banco di prova cruciale sia per gli specialisti delle ultra distanze sia per chi intende testare la propria preparazione in vista delle maratone autunnali, segnando al contempo l’ultimo passaggio prima dello storico traguardo della cinquantesima edizione previsto per il prossimo anno.

La trasformazione della struttura è stata resa possibile dal via libera al cambio di destinazione d’uso, che ha cancellato per sempre la vocazione cinematografica del locale. L’attività è ora gestita da un imprenditore cinese. L’ultimo film era stato proiettato nel giugno del 2018, quando il cinema Globo interruppe le programmazioni dopo il mancato accordo economico sul canone d’affitto tra il vecchio gestore, la società pratese Mabuse Cinema, e la proprietà dell’immobile, la ditta Dinamica. Tra i motivi del contrasto c’erano stati anche alcuni complessi interventi strutturali richiesti, come lo spostamento dell’ingresso principale.

All’epoca i gestori avevano manifestato il sospetto che quelle richieste servissero a liberare la sala per spianare la strada a una riconversione. Un timore che trova conferma oggi, sotto la gestione passata la monosala era diventata un punto di riferimento per i film indipendenti e per rassegne culturali come Presente Italiano o Giallo Pistoia.

Nel 2018 la politica cittadina e diverse realtà locali, tra cui l’associazione Palomar, avevano chiesto alle istituzioni di bloccare operazioni di tipo speculativo. Nonostante i rigidi vincoli del Comune volti a tutelare l’architettura interna, caratterizzata da pregevoli stucchi decorativi e dall’assenza di finestre che vietavano il frazionamento della superficie, la proprietà ha infine ottenuto le autorizzazioni necessarie per l’apertura del nuovo negozio.
