Roberto Vannacci esulta e festeggia dopo aver sfiorato quota 11% alle suppletive Camera dei Deputati di Reggio Calabria.

Suppletive vinte dal candidato di centrodestra Roscioli con 51.02%. Davanti al candidato del campo largo Benedetto con 36.59%.

E a Domenico Giannetta, 10.94% con Futuro Nazionale, il partito fondato dal generale europarlamentare dopo aver lasciato la Lega e Salvini. 

Il che significa per il partito di Vannacci oltre quanto quotato dai sondaggi politici in previsione politiche 2027.

Domenico Giannetta, medico chirurgo, ex deputato Forza Italia e consigliere regionale eletto con Forza Italia, capogruppo, poi passato nel gruppo misto.

Poi il generale europarlamentare dà appuntamento alla festa a Porto Sant’Elpidio mercoledì 30 settembre. E, in risposta a chi commenta il suo quasi 11% una sconfitta: “Festeggeremo le abbondanti 2 cifre di Futuro Nazionale e costruiremo insieme una strategia per replicare il flop di Reggio Calabria. Perché se quello è stato un flop, allora lo voglio ripetere alle politiche del 2027″.

FIRENZE – “Servono più risorse da dedicare al fondo sanitario per la sanità pubblica in Italia: lo chiedono tutti i presidenti di Regione. E serve più chiarezza per quanto riguarda la compensazione delle mancate entrate dal bollo auto”. Il presidente della Toscana Eugenio Giani ha partecipato a Roma alla riunione della Conferenza delle Regioni, che ha discusso di bilancio e sanità.

“L’inflazione ha fatto crescere costi e prezzi e per mantenere elevati i servizi offerti a tutti i cittadini dalla sanità pubblica – spiega Giani – servono maggiori risorse: per sostenere la spesa farmaceutica, per valorizzare ospedali e investire sulla sanità territoriale. In Italia lo Stato investe appena il 6 per cento del prodotto interno lordo nella spesa sanitaria: in Francia è l’8 per cento e in Germania il dieci. Occorre aumentare le risorse messe a disposizione del Fondo sanitario nazionale. Il ministero Schillaci a luglio aveva chiesto almeno cinque o sei miliardi di euro in più: io dico sei o sette. Senza un aumento consistente vedremo infatti i sistemi sanitari della Regioni entrare fortemente in crisi”.

C’è poi la questione della parziale cancellazione del bollo auto sui veicoli di potenza inferiore ad 80 kw, di cui si parlerà più nel dettaglio in una nuova riunione della Conferenza delle Regioni attesa per giovedì (1 ottobre). Con quella tassa regionale viene infatti pagata parte della spesa sanitaria.

“La salute – dice Giani – è un diritto fondamentale dei cittadini, riconosciuto dalla Costituzione. In Toscana alle risorse del fondo nazionale abbiamo aggiunto negli anni risorse proprie per garantire quel diritto e nuovi servizi, di fronte all’insufficienza del fondo nazionale. La parziale cancellazione del bollo auto complica la situazione”.

La domanda è se le minori entrate saranno compensate integralmente oppure no. “Nelle dichiarazioni da parte del governo e nei comunicati stampa – riconosce Giani – si assicura che non ci saranno ripercussioni per le Regioni”. “Ma se leggo il decreto – prosegue -, vedo che le somme messe a disposizione per il rimborso dalla mancata entrata è assolutamente insufficiente e la compensazione parziale: per quanto riguarda la Toscana non arriva nemmeno alla metà di quello che erano le entrate. Anziché un decreto taglia-bollo mi sembra un decreto taglia-sanità”.

NEW YORK, Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Bulat Utemuratov Foundation will become a regional partner of the Global Autism Advocacy Coalition (GAAC) and will establish a hub for the countries of Central Asia and the South Caucasus. The new platform will bring together the expertise of international and regional organizations to develop systemic support for people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). 

The hub’s primary objective will be to adapt and implement international practices in line with the specific characteristics of the countries in the region. It will unite specialists, relevant organizations, and government representatives to facilitate the exchange of expertise, and promote broader access to evidence-based approaches, research, and data. 

GAAC was established in 2025 at the United Nations headquarters in New York with the participation of Qatar Foundation, Autism Speaks, the World Health Organization, and UNICEF. The Bulat Utemuratov Foundation was a founding member of the Coalition. The creation of the regional hub marks the next stage of the Foundation’s cooperation with GAAC and will enable the further advancement of the Coalition’s initiatives.

ATLANTA, Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Airway Therapeutics, Inc., a late-stage clinical biopharmaceutical company developing novel biologic therapies for respiratory, inflammatory, and infectious diseases, today announced that it has been awarded a $1.9 million grant (R44HL186892) from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to support its U.S. Phase 2b clinical study evaluating zelpultide alfa for the prevention of bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) in very preterm infants. 

The award was made through the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) of the NIH under the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program and provides $1.9 million in non-dilutive funding. The funding will support Airway Therapeutics’ late-stage clinical development program in BPD, a condition for which there are currently no approved preventive therapies.

BPD is a serious chronic lung disease of prematurity associated with inflammation and injury to the developing lungs of very preterm infants. SP-D plays an important role in regulating pulmonary inflammation, supporting innate immune defense and maintaining surfactant homeostasis. Zelpultide alfa is being developed as a recombinant human SP-D therapy designed to restore these protective functions in very preterm infants after birth, when the immature lung is particularly susceptible to inflammation, infection and injury that can contribute to BPD. 

The ongoing Phase 2b program in the U.S. builds on favorable safety and tolerability results from a Phase 1b study of zelpultide alfa, as well as a strong start to the trial in Europe, Argentina, and Israel. Among the certifications, Envision Energy’s EN-182/6.25MW wind turbine model has officially obtained Spanish Grid Code Compliance Unit certification at the unit/equipment level in accordance with the NTS 2.1 standard. In Piazza della Resistenza, durante il monitoraggio dell’area, gli operatori hanno segnalato due persone alla Prefettura (ai sensi dell’art. 75 del D.P.R. 309/90) per uso personale di sostanze stupefacenti, con il conseguente sequestro di alcuni grammi di hashish.

Un episodio piuttosto singolare

Sempre in piazza della Resistenza, nella serata di domenica attorno alle 23, gli agenti del Nucleo Sicurezza Urbana hanno fermato e identificato un uomo di 29 anni che ha tentato di cedere della sostanza stupefacente agli stessi operatori in servizio. Il soggetto, privo di documenti d’identità, è stato accompagnato al Comando e denunciato a piede libero per detenzione ai fini di spaccio (di lieve entità), oltre al sequestro dell’hashish in suo possesso.

Domenica i presidi hanno interessato anche l’area tra la Galleria Nazionale e via Gramsci. In questa circostanza, le pattuglie hanno intercettato due donne che avevano disatteso un ordine di allontanamento notificato dalla Questura la mattina stessa. A loro carico è stata contestata la nuova inottemperanza e si è proceduto ad allontanarle di nuovo dall’area.

Per soccorrerlo, la centrale del 118 ha inviato sul posto un’automedica e un’ambulanza della Misericordia di Pistoia. Dopo le prime cure, il ragazzo è stato trasportato in codice rosso al pronto soccorso dell’ospedale San Jacopo.

I primi accertamenti hanno spinto i medici a disporne il trasferimento urgente all’ospedale pediatrico Meyer di Firenze, dove potrà ricevere cure specialistiche. Per il 14enne si sospetta un trauma spinale.

Nelle ore successive alla caduta dalla bici a Pistoia sono però arrivate notizie più rassicuranti: il giovane non sarebbe in pericolo di vita e le sue condizioni sono stabili, anche se la prognosi resta riservata.

Restano da chiarire nel dettaglio le cause della caduta dalla bici a Pistoia che, secondo i primi riscontri, sarebbe un incidente autonomo. Il ragazzo rimane ricoverato al Meyer, dove i medici seguono l’evoluzione del quadro clinico.
