COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

Recognition highlights ACTO’s role-based SuperAgents, cross-platform orchestration, and Life Sciences-focused approach to governed agentic AI

TORONTO and NEW YORK, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — ACTO, uniting human intelligence with empathetic AI in Life Sciences, today announced that it has been named a Luminary in Everest Group’s Innovation Watch: Agentic AI in Life Sciences Commercial 2026, a global assessment of leading agentic AI technology providers serving commercial teams in the Life Sciences industry.

The report evaluates 22 providers of agentic AI products and platforms across two dimensions: market performance, which includes scale and maturity, and ecosystem drivers, which includes partnerships and investments. Providers are categorized as Luminaries, Fast Followers, Influencers, or Seekers. ACTO is positioned in the Luminary category, which represents providers with the strongest market performance and ecosystem drivers.

Everest Group’s research comes as agentic AI emerges as a major enabler of commercial transformation across Life Sciences. The report identifies opportunities spanning sales, marketing, medical affairs, market access, and patient services, as organizations look to agentic AI to improve decision-making, automate work, coordinate actions across systems, and enable more personalized engagement.

“As life sciences enterprises scale agentic AI across commercial functions, the focus is shifting from isolated AI applications to connected commercial platforms that can connect data, content, and workflows across roles and systems. The value of agentic AI will depend on its ability to coordinate activity across systems and functions while preserving governance, traceability, and human accountability,” said Rohit K, Practice Director at Everest Group, “ACTO differentiates through its role-based approach to agentic AI in life sciences commercial, combining domain-specific SuperAgents with cross-platform orchestration and life sciences-focused governance. Its growing partner ecosystem and early customer deployments further support enterprise adoption, positioning ACTO as a Luminary in Everest Group’s Innovation Watch: Agentic AI in Life Sciences Commercial 2026.”

ACTO’s inclusion reflects an AI strategy years in the making. The company began investing in AI in 2022 with LAICA, its AI-powered conversational assistant for Life Sciences learning, which evolved into ACTO SuperAgents, launched in 2026.

“We are thrilled to be named a Luminary by Everest Group, recognized alongside our strategic partners Veeva and Salesforce,” said Parth Khanna, Co-founder and CEO of ACTO. “We began investing in agentic AI in 2022 because we believed AI could fundamentally change how work gets done in Life Sciences, not by replacing people, but by augmenting them. That vision is now a reality. Our customers see tremendous value and impact from role-based SuperAgents that understand the person, the work they do, and the highly regulated environment in which they operate. This recognition reinforces our belief that the future of AI in Life Sciences is not about adding more tools; it’s about creating an intelligent, connected workforce where people and AI work together to achieve better outcomes.”

Built exclusively for Life Sciences, ACTO combines its AI-powered Field Excellence Platform with role-based SuperAgents that work across systems to deliver compliant, in-the-moment support—from clinical and scientific knowledge retrieval to coaching and field medical insight capture—so customer-facing professionals can spend less time navigating systems and more time strengthening relationships with healthcare professionals.

The recognition follows ACTO’s inclusion earlier this year among Everest Group’s Top 50™ Pharmaceutical Technology Providers for 2026, further underscoring the company’s continued investment in AI-powered field excellence and agentic AI purpose-built for Life Sciences.

FIN enables Hyland to integrate with Jack Henry’s SilverLake® and Symitar® Episys® core platforms

CLEVELAND, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Hyland, a global leader in driving enterprise scale content intelligence and automation, today announced that it has joined the Jack Henry Fintech Integration Network (FIN). Participation in the program provides Hyland with access to Jack Henry’s technical resources to support its existing integrations with SilverLake and Symitar Episys. The Fintech Integration Network is designed to help ensure that Jack Henry’s customers can easily deploy third-party products.

Hyland OnBase, one of the financial services industries most trusted content management platforms, integrates with Jack Henry’s connect core banking data and business context platforms to support day-to-day operations. Through jXchange™ for SilverLake and symXchange™ for Symitar Episys — services-based programming interfaces that enable third-party fintechs and financial institutions to securely access core data and business rules — participating institutions can securely connect core information with OnBase, surface relevant documents in the flow of work, and apply content and process automation to improve employee productivity and service experiences. These integrations maintain data integrity by managing access through a service layer that governs all interactions, ensuring consistent and secure data exchange across platforms.

“Our customers don’t want another system to manage, they want their existing systems to work better together, and that’s exactly what our OnBase integrations with Jack Henry deliver,” said Namit Saksena, VP of financial services products at Hyland. “Being part of the Fintech Integration Network strengthens our ability to support that goal, ensuring our joint customers can continue to connect core data, content and workflows in one seamless experience.”

Financial institutions are under pressure to modernize operations without disrupting the core systems employees rely on every day. Many manage content across disconnected systems, forcing employees to switch applications, perform repetitive work, and manually locate documents. These gaps can slow down service, increase operational effort, limit a complete view of customer or member information, and create governance blind spots where content sits outside the compliance and audit controls the institution depends on.

Hyland’s established Jack Henry integrations help joint customers close that gap, connecting core banking activity with the content and workflows that support lending, member and customer service, operations, and compliance; without introducing another content silo. Rather than creating a separate repository, OnBase serves as a secure content hub that connects information across systems and brings documents and workflow into the context of core banking work, helping employees work more efficiently while continuing to use the familiar Jack Henry applications they rely on today.

Jack Henry’s FIN takes the customer out of the middle, providing fintechs with direct access to Jack Henry’s technical resources and test systems. FIN inclusion is not an endorsement of the fintech’s product.

Global leaders in medicine, life sciences, technology, finance, and the United Nations unite to move brain health evidence into homes, communities, and health systems: transforming evidence into equity.

New multisector coalition, coordinated by the Atria Research and Global Health Institute (ARGHI), launches the 30×30×50 Brain Challenge to cut stroke incidence and expand cognitive screening in 30 cities by 2031

NEW YORK, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The International Brain Health Coalition (IBC) launched today, bringing together a multisector, multidisciplinary global community to turn brain health science into equitable, real-world delivery. Its first commitment is the 30×30×50 Brain Challenge: by 2031, 30 cities will work to reduce stroke by 30 percent and increase cognitive screening in primary care by 50 percent.

Coordinated by the Atria Research and Global Health Institute (ARGHI), the Coalition unites patients, leaders from across sectors, and multilateral institutions, including the United Nations, behind a single mandate: to develop, validate, and scale implementation models for the early detection, intervention, and prevention of cognitive impairment, dementia, and stroke across primary care and community settings globally. Rather than generating new evidence alone, the Coalition focuses on putting what science already knows into programs, policies, and daily habits that reach people where they live, work, and age, not only where they receive care.

Neurological and cardiometabolic conditions are among the leading causes of ill health and disability worldwide, and their economic toll on families, and health systems is immense and unsustainable. The modifiable risk factors behind stroke and dementia are well established. The science for prevention is clear, what has been missing is the infrastructure to act on it.

“We are currently facing an incalculable toll on human suffering and an enormous drain on the global economy,” said Dr. David Dodick, Chair of the IBC, Chief Science and Medical Officer at the Atria Health Institute, and Co-Director of the Atria Academy of Science and Medicine. “We have the science to prevent this reality. We don’t have a knowledge gap; we have an execution failure, and IBC was built to close it.”

Today, IBC collaborators include UN Women; Thrive Global; Western University; the Western Institute for Neuroscience; the AI-Mind Institute (Norway); Eli Lilly and Company; Bristol Myers Squibb; the Royal Bank of Canada; the American Heart Association; the Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement; Microsoft; NeuroCentury; Dr. Regina Benjamin, the 18th United States Surgeon General; Gen. Peter Chiarelli, former Vice Chief of Staff of the United States Army and former CEO of One Mind; Dr. Abdulkareem Al Olama, Founder of Sultan Al Olama Medical Centers (Dubai); and more.

“Extraordinary progress is happening across brain health, neurological sciences, and policy,” said Khadija Rejto, Vice Chair of IBC and Chair of Global Health at the Atria Research and Global Health Institute. “Cardiovascular, metabolic, and endocrine research is reshaping how we understand the brain. IBC’s role is to connect those efforts and bring brain health into the places where life actually happens, turning shared knowledge into better brain health for all.”

The IBC’s inaugural project is the 30×30×50 Brain Challenge: 30 global cities pledging a 30% reduction in stroke incidence and a 50% increase in primary-care cognitive screening by 2031, establishing a validated, replicable model that any city, health system, or country can adopt. IBC’s two launch cities are London, Ontario, Canada, and Oslo, Norway.

London, Ontario, Canada is home to the Coalition’s flagship CanDo Brain Health Implementation Initiative, a two-year trial enrolling up to 800 participants in a scalable AI-and-human coaching model targeting blood pressure, activity, sleep, and other proven drivers of cognitive decline, anchored by the Western Institute for Neuroscience at Western University.

“Brain health is the foundation of individual and societal well-being, and we have known for decades how to protect it. What we have lacked is a way to deliver that knowledge to entire populations,” said Dr. Vladimir Hachinski of the Western Institute for Neuroscience, Western University. “The International Brain Health Coalition is the first initiative built to do precisely that. It is fitting that this work begins in London, where integral brain health was first defined as a discipline, and it is my hope that what we prove here will benefit every community in the world.”

Oslo, Norway, anchors the Coalition’s European launch through the AI-Mind research environment at Oslo University Hospital and the University of Oslo, led by Dr. Ira Haraldsen, PhD, MD, together with BrainSymph, combining multimodal AI, cognitive assessment, EEG, blood-based biomarkers, and longitudinal home monitoring to identify individuals at increased risk of cognitive decline before overt dementia develops.

“The Oslo demonstration will extend this foundation into a practical, scalable model for precision brain health prevention and early intervention, linking population and primary care screening with multimodal risk stratification and personalized follow up, while emerging Virtual Human Twin approaches investigate how brain, cardiovascular, metabolic, inflammatory, and behavioural factors interact over time to reveal modifiable risk trajectories before irreversible neurological disease develops,” said Dr. Ira Haraldsen.

This pairing of Europe’s most advanced predictive brain health science with a proven translational pathway makes Oslo a powerful demonstration environment for the IBC and creates a direct bridge to major European research, innovation, regulatory, and commercialization programs.

L’obiettivo è valorizzare un’accoglienza diffusa, legata all’identità e all’ambiente, lontana dai flussi di massa.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

ATLANTA, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Housing costs are forcing millions of people around the world into difficult trade-offs, coming at the expense of food, healthcare, financial security and major plans for the future, according to a global research report released today by Habitat for Humanity International. Titled Home at What Cost? and based on nationally representative surveys of 30,000 people across 22 countries, the report reveals that the full cost of housing extends far beyond rent or mortgage payments — it includes what people give up to secure a place to call home.

Three in 4 survey respondents (75%) say they have cut back on at least one expense in the past year to afford housing costs, with the greatest pressures falling on people already facing greater housing vulnerability, including those living in informal arrangements (89%), lower-income groups (85%) and younger generations — Gen Z and Millennials (81%). The trade-offs reach the essentials, with one-third of respondents (33%) spending less on food, 32% dipping into savings or emergency funds, and 13% delaying or avoiding medical care to afford their homes.

Despite these sacrifices, many households are still exposed, with nearly half of people globally (48%) saying one unexpected problem could threaten their ability to stay housed. Housing affordability is also forcing compromises on safety, with 40% saying they accept some level of housing risk because safer options are out of reach. Across the board, people lack confidence that solutions are on the horizon, with 56% saying the housing system in their country is broken or does not work.

“A home should never come at the cost of your health or your future. It should be the foundation of health, opportunity and financial security. Yet more than half of people believe the housing system in their country is broken or simply isn’t working for them,” said Jonathan Reckford, CEO of Habitat for Humanity International. “We cannot accept a future where people have to lower their expectations for what a home should provide. The research shows why we need governments, businesses and communities to work together to create housing systems that help people build a future instead of simply surviving the present.”

Delayed families, declining well-being The impact of housing costs extends beyond household budgets, affecting people’s well-being today and the futures they hope to build.

Renters are nearly 1.5 times as likely as homeowners to say their housing situation could negatively affect their health (28% vs. 19%).

Meanwhile, nearly 9 in 10 respondents globally (89%) say safe, comfortable and reliable housing helps them stay mentally healthy, underlining that housing is not simply a financial issue but one that increasingly shapes people’s well-being, resilience, and ability to care for themselves and their families.

Housing safety also is increasingly impacted by climate change, with nearly a third of people (30%) expecting extreme weather to make living where they are harder over the next three years, while 18% say their home does not protect them from extreme weather such as heat, cold or flooding.

Governments, private-sector businesses, civil society and individuals all have a role to play in ensuring people can access housing that expands opportunity rather than limiting it. Habitat for Humanity is calling on governments to move from housing promises to housing pathways through political commitment and investment; on businesses to expand and innovate housing finance opportunities; on peers and partners to turn evidence into action by urging policy change, financing and accountability; and on individuals and communities to use their voices, skills and networks to help drive lasting housing solutions.

The report includes a more detailed breakdown of these findings, including country and demographic insights. To find out more about the report or Habitat for Humanity International, visit habitat.org/HomeAtWhatCost.

Methodology The nationally representative survey was conducted between April 10 and June 30, 2026, across 22 countries, with the views of 30,758 people. The research was conducted across countries, including Argentina, Australia, Barbados, Brazil, Canada, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Indonesia, Ireland, Kenya, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Poland, South Africa, South Korea, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States. This report is based on original public opinion research commissioned by Habitat for Humanity International to better understand how people experience housing in their daily lives. The research was designed to complement existing housing data by moving beyond system-level indicators and capturing how housing affects people’s sense of safety, affordability, stability, dignity, health, opportunity and community.

About Habitat for Humanity Habitat for Humanity is a movement of people in your local area and around the world, working together to build more prosperous and vibrant communities by making sure everyone has a safe, affordable place to call home. Since our founding in 1976 as a Christian organization, together we have helped more than 65 million people globally build their futures on their own terms through access to decent housing. We’ve done that by working alongside people of all walks of life to build, repair and finance their homes, by innovating new ways of building and financing, and by advocating for policies that make constructing and accessing housing easier for everyone. Together, we build homes, communities and hope. To learn more, visit habitat.org

The technology startup enables people and institutions to protect, license and receive compensation for their data, work and likeness — connecting them with the growing demand for real-world human data across AI, research and media.

WILMINGTON, Del., Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — SignSplit PBC, a fast-growing technology company that enables people and institutions to protect, license and contribute their data, work and likeness, today emerged from stealth with a $400 million strategic seed round secured with W Group, the global fintech and technology ecosystem serving more than 40 million users. The financing commitment, which values SignSplit at $1 billion, combines capital with a multi-year package of strategic resources to support SignSplit’s global rollout.

The next generation of AI will increasingly depend on real-world human data, knowledge, creativity and experience across fields ranging from advanced models and robotics to science, healthcare, media and entertainment. SignSplit enables people and institutions to proactively participate in that future by protecting, licensing and contributing their data, work and likeness with consent, clear provenance and defined terms. SignSplit calls this “signed data.”

Through SignSplit, AI and robotics companies, researchers and other organizations can access data and research pools built around specific needs, while contributors provide real-world data, knowledge and skills and receive compensation for their participation. SignSplit also includes a verification layer for data, work and likeness, designed to enable AI systems, social media platforms and other digital services to identify signed content and access its associated provenance, consent and terms.

“SignSplit provides solutions for a world where the boundary between human experience and technology is becoming increasingly fluid,” said Alessandro Monterosso, Co-Founder and CEO of SignSplit. “As AI reaches further into the real world, human knowledge, creativity, skills and identity will become increasingly connected to how technology evolves and interacts with the world around us. We believe SignSplit and the use of signed data can become the bridge between the two, connecting human contribution with protection, participation and compensation as technology advances.”

“SignSplit brings a new standard for the use of individuals’ and institutions’ data, work and likenesses,” said Volodymyr Nosov, Founder and President of W Group. “We believe that every serious participant in AI and the data economy will come to rely on SignSplit’s infrastructure. The scale of our commitment reflects both how early we believe we are, and how important we believe these solutions are for every industry that relies on human data.”

SignSplit was founded in 2024 by Glib Denisov, Co-Founder, Executive Chairman and Chief Product Officer. “When we started SignSplit in 2024, we were building for where we believed AI was going, not where it was at the time,” said Glib Denisov. “We saw that the next generation of AI would need more than additional data — it would need higher-quality, real-world data with clear provenance, permission and rights attached to it.”

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

BROOMFIELD, Colo. and PERTH, Australia, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Quantinuum (NASDAQ: QNT), a leading quantum computing company, today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The University of Western Australia (UWA) to advance Australia’s quantum capability by expanding access to advanced quantum computing, developing quantum talent, and accelerating the development of practical applications that integrate quantum computing, AI, and high-performance computing (HPC).

Through the collaboration, UWA-affiliated researchers, students, and entrepreneurs will gain cloud-based access to Quantinuum’s full-stack quantum computing platform, including Helios, the company’s latest-generation quantum computer. The partnership is designed to provide hands-on experience with advanced quantum technologies while creating new opportunities to explore how quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and high-performance computing can work together to address complex real-world challenges.

The organisations will also explore opportunities to expand UWA’s Quantum and AI research ecosystem through a university-wide quantum computing applications centre that would bring together academic, industry, and government stakeholders to identify and develop high-value use cases in critical sectors for Australia’s economy, including critical minerals, energy, agriculture, and healthcare.

“Australia has set an ambitious vision for quantum, and it is making meaningful progress toward turning that vision into reality thanks to leadership from institutions like UWA,” said Dr. Marvin Lee, Country Leader at Quantinuum. “Together, we’re bringing our full suite of capabilities, from world-leading hardware and software to application expertise and ecosystem programs, to develop practical quantum applications and hybrid workflows that will prepare Australia for the quantum era and support the nation’s future prosperity.”

Beyond providing access to advanced quantum systems, the partnership aims to help build the technical capabilities and innovation networks needed to support Australia’s long-term quantum ambitions. Through engagement with Quantinuum programs such as Q-Net and the Startup Partner Program, researchers, developers, and entrepreneurs will have opportunities to access training, collaborate with peers across the global quantum ecosystem, and accelerate the development of quantum-enabled solutions.

Working alongside UWA researchers and industry stakeholders, Quantinuum experts will help evaluate candidate use cases, establish technical benchmarks and assess hybrid workflows that integrate quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and high-performance computing.

Professor Jingbo Wang, founder and Director of UWA’s Research Centre for Quantum Information, Simulation and Algorithm (QUISA), said the partnership built on UWA’s strengths in quantum computing research.

“Through co-design with potential end users and quantum computing hardware providers, this initiative will create new opportunities for UWA researchers, students and industry partners, while strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration across the University. We look forward to exploring all the opportunities this will bring for our researchers as well as student pathways, internships and workforce training initiatives,” Professor Wang said.

“Access to leading quantum technologies helps Australian researchers, students and companies build capability and understand where quantum can deliver real value,” said Petra Andrén, CEO of Quantum Australia. “Collaborations like this create opportunities to develop skills, test applications and connect research with industry challenges. Australia has strengths across the quantum technology stack. Access to the best capabilities, both here and internationally, will help translate those strengths into economic and community benefit.”

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to ensuring Australia remains not only a source of quantum discovery, but a place where quantum technologies are put to work solving real-world challenges and creating economic value.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

Milano, 5 ottobre 2026.

costi fissi. Artigiani e commercianti iscritti all’INPS versano i contributi minimi a prescindere dal reddito prodotto.

Thailand’s LTR Visa Hits 12,000 Approvals in Four Years, Adding USD 1.28 Billion to the Economy

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

BANGKOK, THAILAND – Media OutReach Newswire – 5 October 2026 – The Long-Term Resident (LTR) visa has attracted 12,010 high-potential foreigners to Thailand in four years, generating approximately USD 1.28 billion (THB 43 billion) in economic value, according to the Board of Investment (BOI). The visa is a key mechanism for attracting executives and highly skilled personnel for future industries while increasing purchasing power and stimulating domestic spending and economic activity. A new online system now links services from four government agencies in an integrated process.

Introduced in September 2022 to attract high-potential foreigners to reside and conduct economic activities in Thailand, the LTR visa program has generated an average economic value of more than USD 107,000 (THB 3.6 million) per recipient, according to BOI data. The calculation covers visa fees, spending in Thailand by visa holders, direct investment, and tax revenue from highly skilled professionals.

Amid intensifying global competition for highly skilled personnel, the LTR visa is an important mechanism for bringing global talent into Thailand. This is particularly relevant as the country prepares for a new wave of investment in advanced-technology industries, including semiconductors and advanced electronics, digital technology and AI, humanoid robotics, aviation, and biotechnology.

“The LTR visa is a strategic pillar to attract global talent as Thailand absorbs a new wave of advanced technology investments,” said Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Secretary General of the Board of Investment. “Drawing top-tier executives and technical specialists from around the world is vital to strengthening our national competitiveness and securing technology transfers from international partners.”

Approved LTR visa recipients primarily come from leading economies. The United States accounts for the largest group, with more than 2,400 approvals, followed by Japan with more than 1,300 and the United Kingdom with more than 1,000. Japanese nationals comprise a notable share of the specialist bracket, aligning with Japan’s heavy footprint in Thailand’s automotive and precision-electronics supply networks.

The 12,010 approved LTR visa recipients fall into five categories: 1,779 Highly-Skilled Professionals; 1,043 Work-from-Thailand Professionals, who work from Thailand for overseas employers; 737 Wealthy Global Citizens; 4,561 Wealthy Pensioners; and 3,891 Dependents of recipients in the first four categories.

Among recipients in the Highly-Skilled Professionals and Work-from-Thailand Professionals categories, 54% hold executive-level positions and 36% are professionals in various fields; the remainder are at the technical level. Applicants in each category must meet specific criteria, such as requirements relating to assets, income, investment evidence, work experience, and health insurance, and undergo rigorous checks by the relevant agencies.

To handle rising application volumes and remove long-standing administrative bottlenecks, the BOI rolled out an integrated digital processing portal in September 2026. The platform centralizes review procedures across four primary state bodies: the Department of Consular Affairs, the Immigration Bureau, the Department of Employment, and the Revenue Department.

Complementing the portal, the Thailand Investment and Expat Services Center (TIESC), a one-stop service center, is located on floors 6-7 of the Parade Zone at One Bangkok. “The center is intended to strengthen Thailand’s competitiveness in continuously attracting high-potential talent from around the world,” said Mr. Narit.

In addition to attracting foreign talent through the LTR visa, BOI also facilitates visas and work permits for executives and personnel working in BOI-promoted businesses through the BOI Visa, and offers the Smart Visa for startups. BOI also supports the skills development of Thai personnel through the Skill Bridge measure, and helps Thai entrepreneurs adopt modern technology to enhance their competitiveness through the Business Transformation measure. These measures work hand in hand to attract international experts, develop Thai personnel, and upgrade Thai businesses, strengthening Thailand’s readiness for the transition to a new economy driven by technology and innovation.

Note: Currency conversions are based on the Bank of Thailand’s average selling rate of approximately 1 USD = 33.6 THB.

Established in 1966, the Office of the Board of Investment (BOI) has played an important role for more than 60 years in promoting value-creating investment by both foreign and Thai investors, strengthening competitiveness and supporting Thailand’s sustainable economic restructuring toward the new economy.

Girone E

Showcasing Wi-Fi, 5G CPE and PON Platforms at Network X 2026—Assisting Global Operators in Upgrading Infrastructure with Higher Bandwidth, Ultra-Low Latency and Enterprise-Grade Reliability

HSINCHU, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The AI era demands more than compute power; it requires a high-bandwidth, low-latency, and highly reliable network infrastructure to deliver AI services to users in real time, reliably and at scale. At Network X 2026, MediaTek and Airoha Technology (known as the MediaTek Group) will showcase next-generation connectivity spanning Wi-Fi, 5G CPE, and PON. Encompassing fiber-optic access, wireless broadband, and home and enterprise connectivity, these industry-leading solutions help global telecom operators accelerate network upgrades, seamlessly extending AI applications and services across home, office, and on-the-go scenarios.

Comprehensive Connectivity Portfolio for an End-to-End Experience in the AI Era

In the AI era, network requirements are shifting from point access technologies toward an end-to-end service experience. From PON bringing high-speed fiber connectivity into homes and enterprises, to 5G FWA providing high-performance wireless broadband, and Wi-Fi extending connectivity to every device, the three technologies together form an essential foundation for telecom operators to deliver next-generation broadband services.

By combining the capabilities of MediaTek and Airoha, MediaTek Group provides connectivity expertise spanning PON, 5G CPE and Wi-Fi, enabling customers to work with a single partner across network access, CPE, and in-home and enterprise networks. Beyond the breadth of its technologies, MediaTek Group continues to strengthen enterprise-grade quality, reliability and multi-vendor interoperability, while supporting major broadband software ecosystems including OpenWrt, RDK-B and prplOS, helping telecom operators reduce system integration complexity and accelerate the deployment of new services.

Moving to Commercialization on a Global Scale

For telecom operators, network connectivity technology is more than a spec sheet. Its real value lies in long-term, reliable deployment across commercial networks on a global scale. MediaTek Group has decades of engineering and product experience spanning product definition, silicon development, software integration, system validation and lifecycle support. Its track records on product quality, reliability and scalable deployment capabilities continue to be validated through mass productions of billions of devices across the globe every year. Strategically positioned at the heart of the world’s premier semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, MediaTek Group works hand-in-hand with advanced-process partners. This close collaboration ensures that customers benefit from continuous technology advancements and a highly reliable supply chain.

Building Next-Gen Networks: Driving Innovation across Three Key Areas

At Network X 2026, MediaTek Group is showcasing the parallel migration of three network technologies: from Wi-Fi 7 to Wi-Fi 8, from XGS-PON to 50G-PON, and from 5G to 5G-Advanced. Moving beyond raw speed, these technologies are aligned on a new trajectory: Through AI, advanced connectivity, and system integration, they deliver higher bandwidth, lower latency, and superior energy efficiency, creating a highly reliable network infrastructure designed for intelligent, large-scale deployment.

MediaTek Group noted that the rise of AI applications continues to drive stricter network requirements for bandwidth, reliability, low power consumption and multi-point connectivity. Consequently, the challenge for the telecom industry goes beyond continual upgrades on one single connectivity technology, but enabling fiber access, mobile broadband and Wi-Fi to work together more closely for a high-quality, end-to-end user experience.

From the product planning and definition stages, MediaTek and Airoha have worked closely to integrate PON, 5G CPE, and Wi-Fi technologies and product portfolios. Together with global ecosystem partners, they help telecom customers accelerate next-generation network infrastructure upgrades, extending AI computing power from the cloud and data centers directly into every home, enterprise, and smart device.

Una linea condivisa dalle rappresentanze accademiche presenti all’incontro.

Huawei Highlights Continuous Innovation, Securing Competitive Edge Through Technological Breakthroughs

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

SHENZHEN, CHINA – Media OutReach Newswire – 3 October 2026 – Huawei hosted an international media roundtable today featuring Richard Yu, Executive Director, Chairman of the Investment Review Board, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Consumer BG. Yu shared comprehensive insights into Huawei’s consumer business and HarmonyOS ecosystem.

Richard Yu joined Huawei in 1993, working on early developments like the first-generation program-controlled switch and participating in the establishment of Huawei’s wireless communications business, which started with GSM. Over the past decade, Yu has led Huawei’s consumer business with the vision to deliver a seamless AI life experience to all consumers across five key scenarios: HIMA-powered Smart Travel, HarmonyOS Office, Smart Home, Fitness & Health, and Entertainment, which he said is also the long-term strategy for Huawei’s consumer business over the next 10 years.

Between 2007 and 2025, Huawei invested more than CNY1.8 trillion into R&D shifting from roughly 10% of annual revenue in early years to over 20% recently. Huawei has continued to increase investment into the core technologies of the ICT domain and basic research, which has translated into robust core capabilities, extensive intellectual property, and a vast patent portfolio, and helped with achieving a series of breakthroughs in technological innovation.

The Mate 90 series smartphones Huawei just launched come with the latest Kirin 9050 Pro chip. The overall device performance is 31% higher than the previous generation. The Balong modem, image sensor processor (ISP), mobile security processor (MSP), Lingxi CPU, Maleoon GPU, and the NPU that adopts Huawei’s Da Vinci architecture for AI processing are all designed by Huawei. They offer higher energy efficiency and deliver much-improved overall system-level performance.

Even though Yu admitted that Huawei has limited access to advanced semiconductor processes, Huawei recently made a new breakthrough in the semiconductor domain – the LogicFolding technology under the Tau Scaling Law. Unveiled by He Tingbo, head of Huawei’s Semiconductor Business Department this May, this technology vertically stacks the logic layers of chips and restructures the circuit layout through inter-layer high-density interconnect to shorten critical paths and reduce latency. This technology was adopted on Kirin 9050 Pro chip, which shows very strong AI processing power. The Mate 90 series powered by this chip can run a 30B MoE on-device AI model.

In the AI domain, Yu talked about the Ascend compute foundation that Huawei provides, by remarking Huawei’s large models called openPangu, AI capabilities for intelligent driving, and HarmonyOS Celia, which is similar to Gemini in the Google Android ecosystem. Huawei is also using AI to improve the O&M of communications network equipment. By combining AI computing power with domestic open-source large models, Huawei’s vision is to help enterprises and industries around the world to become more productive and bringing more convenience to everyone.

In the past years, Huawei has launched a broad series of products and solutions, including smartphones, PCs, tablets, wearables, TWS audio products, Smart TVs, home routers, smart home control solutions, as well as intelligent electric vehicles together with partners. Underlying these products and solutions are Huawei’s chip hardware platform and HarmonyOS – another OS ecosystem after iOS from Apple and Android from Google that Huawei developed to support all the smart devices and smart hardware across all scenarios.

Development of HarmonyOS began in 2019. Before that, Huawei was a major contributor to the Android community as well as the entire Android ecosystem. Now, more than 90 million devices, including smartphones, PCs, and tablets, currently run on HarmonyOS 6 and HarmonyOS 7. This figure is expected to hit the 100 million mark by the end of this year. The number of apps and services in the HarmonyOS ecosystem has already exceeded 450,000. Its global registered developer count has reached 11 million, and Huawei now has over 23,000 app innovation partners. Expressing his special thanks to all partners and developers for their trust and support, Yu also pointed out that Huawei is considering gradually bringing HarmonyOS to the global market in the future.

Globalization is another topic of the conversation. Yu mentioned that Huawei had very good collaboration with many companies from the US, Europe, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, delivering huge business value and benefits to those partners. When it comes to the difficulties that Huawei overcame since 2019, Yu said that relying on homegrown technologies and capabilities, Huawei gradually designed its own operating system and developed basic tools and software by themselves, putting a domestic supply chain in place. In 2023, Huawei started to manufacture the chips used by smartphones domestically again. With these chips and HarmonyOS, and by relying on China’s domestic supply chain, materials, and process nodes, Huawei has basically gotten rid of the dependence on US technologies.

While Huawei’s global market share was once No. 1, nowadays it only sells several million units of smartphones outside China every year. However, Yu revealed that Huawei is trying to return to the overseas market step by step.

Taking wearables as an example, Huawei is No. 1 in terms of the market share both in China and globally. Other innovative products such as TWS earphones, are also growing fast and have reached No. 1 in many countries. While Huawei’s tablet and PC business was greatly affected after it was denied access to Windows and Intel x86 chips, the HarmonyOS-based tablets are now performing strongly. Another example would be CPE, which is a mobile router that provides connectivity to the unconnected in remote and rural areas. These products are also very well received across many regions outside China, helping more people connect to the rest of the world and live better lives.

Question: Both the Huawei XT 2 and the two most advanced models of the Mate 90 series use a LogicFolding chip. Will LogicFolding chips be used for more phones in the future? We understand that Huawei’s chip production capacity is still limited. Huawei has launched SuperPoDs, and AI infrastructure is a huge business. They are both very important in China. How do you secure a larger share of the chip supply internally?

Richard Yu: We started introducing the chip that adopts the LogicFolding technology powered by the Tau Scaling Law to the Mate XT 2 tri-fold phone. To answer your question, yes, more of our phones will definitely use these LogicFolding chips in the future.

Currently, the production capacity for advanced semiconductors in China still cannot meet the rapidly growing demand. Huawei’s Ascend chips for the AI domain also use such capacity. But we have developed a requirement plan, which also covers the chip requirements of smartphones.

The sharp price increase for memory components over the past two years has somewhat limited the smartphone sales volume. Even though the production capacity remains tight right now, generally it is sufficient to meet our market shipment needs.

We hope that production capacity will ramp up in China’s semiconductor industry so that we can manufacture more advanced products for consumers in the Chinese market as well as the overseas market in the future.

Siamo nati e cresciuti in Germania e oggi ioki è attiva in tutta Europa.
