OpenProposal Brings a Common Standard to a Historically Manual Stage of Media Buying, Connecting RFPs to Buy Commitments and will be in Public Comment until October 22, 2026 

NEW YORK, Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Today, IAB Tech Lab, the global digital advertising technical standards-setting body, announced AAMP 3.0, the next major release of its Agentic Advertising Management Protocols framework, introducing a standardized way for buyers and sellers to move from an RFP through proposal evaluation and toward a buy commitment in agentic advertising. 

While standards exist for many stages of digital media buying and execution, the process between an RFP and a buy commitment has historically been handled largely through human and manual workflows. As AI agents take on more responsibility for discovering, evaluating and planning media, that gap creates the need for a common way for buyer and seller agents to exchange and evaluate proposals before a transaction moves toward execution. 

AAMP 3.0 addresses that gap through OpenProposal, a new specification that defines how sellers can represent advertising products and respond to buyer briefs in a standardized, agent-readable format. OpenProposal enables buying agents to discover and compare opportunities against a brief while giving sellers control over how their inventory and ad products are represented. The new specification will be in Public Comment until October 22, 2026, during which time it will be built into the Buyer and Seller Agent SDK reference implementations. 

OpenProposal extends AAMP into the RFP and proposal stage while connecting to the IAB Tech Lab standards already used across media execution, including AdCOM, OpenDirect, and the Deals API. Together, these standards provide a common foundation for agentic workflows to move from discovery and planning through negotiation, buying, execution and reporting.

Once an opportunity moves forward, AAMP connects that proposal to the standards and infrastructure used for all types of transaction and execution.

For buyers, this creates the ability to evaluate a much broader universe of potential media opportunities. OpenProposal maintains continuity with the digital advertising infrastructure already in the market. It complements OpenDirect, AdCOM, and the Deals API, using those established standards as opportunities move from planning into transaction and execution. Existing programmatic implementations of those standards can continue operating as they do today, without requiring DSPs, SSPs or other technologies to change their existing use cases. 

In addition, the AAMP agent software development kits (SDKs) continue to further harden deterministic guardrails governing pricing, ad packages, orders and media buy details, increase trust in agent identities, and strengthen idempotency across transactions to help ensure consistent responses and data integrity as agents operate at greater speed and scale. In practical terms, idempotency means an instruction can be sent twice without happening twice; so when an agent retries a request it didn’t get an answer to, the result is confirmation of the original order rather than a duplicate.

As agencies, brands and publishers begin building agents into their planning and transaction workflows, industry participants are rallying around the need for common standards that allow those agents to communicate across companies and platforms. BREDA, Netherlands, Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — New light electric vehicles (LEVs) could cut car use but they also put more cyclists at risk, according to research conducted at Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas).    

As European Mobility Week closes with Car-Free Day, the Netherlands’ cycling model faces a new test. 

The world’s blueprint for cycling 

The Netherlands built the world’s reference model for cycling: 28% of all trips by bike, 22 million bicycles for 18 million residents, and a 153,000-kilometre network that is increasingly studied and copied by cities worldwide.  

Lower car use  

Light electric vehicles – e-scooters, e-cargo bikes and fatbikes – are arriving on Dutch cycle paths in growing numbers. Research from the LEVERAGE project of BUas and partners shows the upside: in a survey of nearly 2,000 residents, a quarter are considering a small LEV soon, and three-quarters expect to drive their car less as a result. Interest spans suburban and rural areas equally, suggesting LEVs can extend cycling-based mobility beyond conventional bikes, contributing to decarbonising the wider mobility system.  

It’s behaviour, not the vehicle  

But LEVs also bring more varied speeds and masses to the same narrow cycle paths, and safety research finds this is pushing up cycling accidents. Using eye-tracking, skin-conductance sensors and surveys with cyclists, researchers found that legal fatbikes and other LEVs draw more visual attention than ordinary bicycles. Yet this does not translate into measurable stress or unsafety, as long as LEV users behave predictably and keep to legal speeds.  

“It is not the vehicle itself that creates danger, it is how it’s used,” says Paul van de Coevering, professor of Urban Mobility Planning at BUas. Even participants with negative prior attitudes towards LEVs reported no unsafe experiences when encountering them riding calmly. Infrastructure matters too: separated cycle paths consistently produced higher feelings of safety.  

The policy fix  

Enforcing behavioural standards like age limits, speed controls and predictable riding is more effective and receives more public support than banning specific vehicles. Combined with investment in well-designed infrastructure, these measures can keep the Dutch cycling model safe as it absorbs a new generation of electric vehicles.

According to a 2026 survey of 175 US companies by the US-China Business Council, a resounding 95% of US firms operating in China consider the Chinese market to be “somewhat to very important” for staying globally competitive. 

Sean Stein, president of the US-China Business Council, has said more US companies are looking to partner with Chinese businesses, aiming to learn from their strengths and leverage developments in China to stay competitive globally. “China is an important part of their global competitiveness,” Stein told CGTN. 

Beyond business, since 2026, law enforcement agencies of the two countries have engaged in practical cooperation in areas including counternarcotics, combating telecom and online fraud, and fugitive repatriation, achieving tangible results. A growing number of young Americans travel to China to experience the country through cultural activities, building a bridge to carry forward the friendship between the two peoples. 

The two countries will respectively host major global gatherings this year, the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Shenzhen and the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Miami, which will place them at the center of the international agenda. 

Just as the Chinese leader has noted on many occasions, China and the United States, as two major countries, can shoulder their responsibilities and work together to accomplish more great and concrete things for the good of both countries and the whole world.

Un momento di commosso ricordo al crocevia fra storia, memoria, ricerca e testimonianza: questo il senso che la prefettura di Pistoia ha voluto dare alla cerimonia di consegna delle medaglie d’onore ai familiari di cinque cittadini toscani che, dopo l’armistizio dell’8 settembre 1943, pagarono con la deportazione, la prigionia – e in qualche caso con la vita – la loro scelta di coerenza e fedeltà all’Italia.

L’evento, condotto dalla giornalista Paola Bardelli, ha alternato la riflessione storica, affidata all’intervento di Giorgio Petracchi (professore emerito di storia delle relazioni internazionali all’università di Udine), con documenti inediti e materiali audiovisivi sulla tragedia degli internati militari italiani, anche attraverso brani di diari, cartoline e lettere forniti dalle famiglie degli insigniti, letti dal giovane attore Matteo Avanzati (a sua volta nipote di un internato militare), che hanno suscitato partecipe e viva commozione fra le autorità ed il pubblico in sala.

Le medaglie sono state consegnate dal prefetto e dai sindaci dei comuni di residenza ai familiari di Dino Bottai, di Monsummano Terme, deceduto nel 1944 a Königsberg; Millo Danesi, di Marliana, deceduto nel 1944 in un campo d’internamento nell’allora Jugoslavia; Luigi Innocenti, di Pistoia; e Rino Nucci, di Quarrata, questi ultimi due sopravvissuti alla prigionia e deceduti successivamente per cause naturali. Premiati a Pistoia, per desiderio dei familiari, anche i figli di Solferino Nannotti, originario di Torrita di Siena.

La cerimonia – alla presenza delle più alte autorità civili, militari e religiose della provincia – è stata organizzata dalla prefettura in collaborazione con la Fondazione Caript, che ha messo a disposizione il Saloncino della Musica di Palazzo de’ Rossi, oltre che con le associazioni Anrp (Associazione nazionale reduci prigionia), Anei (Associazione nazionale ex internati) e Aned (Associazione nazionale ex deportati), che vi sono intervenute.

Against that backdrop, the former leaders underscore that today’s challenges — from conflict, climate change and pandemics to inequality, migration and transformative technologies such as artificial intelligence — require not more unilateral responses, but better international cooperation: grounded in human dignity, the rule of law and mutual respect; honoring sovereignty while recognizing interdependence; and delivering tangible benefits for people and communities.

The call comes as new global polling suggests that, despite rising nationalism, populism and isolationism, public demand for international cooperation remains strong. A survey conducted by Focaldata with support from The Rockefeller Foundation in association with its public charity, RFCC, found that 57% of people across 34 countries agree that their country should cooperate with other countries to solve global challenges, even if it means compromising on some national interests. In every country surveyed, a majority said they would support their country’s leader publicly endorsing a shared set of principles for international cooperation alongside other current and former world leaders. 

The polling also points to substantial agreement about what those principles should protect and advance. More than 80% of respondents supported including commitments to ensure that all human beings can live with dignity and to take collective action on threats to life, peace and security. 

“We know that, even in a divided world, there is remarkable common ground – with a clear majority in every continent including the United States – committed to the need for cooperation and the principles that should underpin it”, said The Rt. Israele, promozione del superamento nell’Unione Europea dello status di partner privilegiato di Israele,

genocidio a Gaza e delle attività criminose in Cisgiordania”.
