Fino al 13 luglio è istituito il divieto di sosta con rimozione forzata 24 ore su 24 in Ripa del Sale, Ripa della Comunità, via Filippo Pacini (nello specifico nel tratto compreso tra vicolo Villani e via Buonfanti) e all’intersezione tra piazza del Carmine e via delle Pappe. Questo provvedimento si rende necessario per garantire il passaggio e la manovra dei mezzi pesanti che trasportano le attrezzature e i materiali per il montaggio del grande palco principale.

Ulteriori modifiche scatteranno a ridosso dei concerti. Dal 1° all’11 luglio le auto non potranno sostare sull’intero lato est del giardino di piazza del Carmine, tra via delle Pappe e via Trinci. Nella stessa fascia temporale, i divieti di sosta con rimozione forzata riguarderanno anche via Filippo Pacini, sia nel tratto tra via Buonfanti e vicolo Borgo Bambini, sia in quello tra Ripa del Sale e via della Torre. In queste aree il parcheggio sarà consentito esclusivamente ai veicoli di servizio legati alla produzione del Pistoia Blues Festival 2026.

L’amministrazione comunale ha già provveduto a installare la segnaletica stradale di preavviso nelle zone interessate per avvisare residenti e automobilisti. I flussi di traffico saranno monitorati per ridurre i disagi durante tutta la durata del festival.

The newly introduced 587Ah semi-solid-state cell combines the safety advantages of solid-state battery technology with the scalability and cost efficiency required for commercial deployment. By utilizing a proprietary composite oxide-polymer electrolyte system, the cell reduces free electrolyte content to less than 0.01%, delivering a significant improvement in safety performance while maintaining mass-production viability. It is the world’s highest-capacity semi-solid-state energy storage cell, with a safety profile approaching that of a fully solid-state battery. 

To demonstrate its safety credentials, the cell has successfully completed a series of extreme abuse tests, including compression at ten times the national standard, full-cell cutting, one-hour exposure to 200°C, and direct exposure to flames exceeding 1,000°C, all without fire or explosion. 

Based on the 587Ah platform, INPOW also introduced its 6.25MWh liquid-cooled energy storage solution designed for utility-scale renewable integration, grid balancing, and long-duration energy storage applications. In 2025, the FIAU advanced its readiness for the evolving European AML/CFT framework, including preparations linked to the EU Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA) and the 6th Anti-Money Laundering Directive. A structured alignment exercise is informing the Unit’s forward strategy, ensuring coherence with Malta’s National Risk Assessment, national AML/CFT priorities and evolving international standards. 

The FIAU also remained actively engaged in European discussions shaping AMLA’s work. The Unit’s international role was further reinforced by the appointment of FIAU Director Alfred Zammit as Vice-Chair of MONEYVAL for the 2026–2028 term. 

Operational delivery continued across the Unit’s core functions. In 2025, the FIAU received 10,721 suspicious transaction reports, conducted 150 supervisory interventions and issued 71 enforcement measures, supporting the detection of risk, the dissemination of actionable intelligence and the strengthening of compliance across subject persons. 

Preparatory work also supported enhancements to the enforcement framework, including the Settlement Process launched in April 2026, strengthening the FIAU’s ability to pursue timely, proportionate and effective outcomes.

New pixel design and algorithm deliver more than 20% higher definition compared to Sony’s conventional product 

ATSUGI, Japan, June 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation (Sony) today announced the upcoming release of the LYTIA 610, a 1/2-type approximately 64-effective megapixel CMOS image sensor with the RB2×2 On Chip Lens (OCL) pixel structure. This is the industry’s first*1 product with this pixel structure to be mass produced. 

By combining the RB2×2 OCL pixel structure with dedicated array conversion processing (remosaicing) optimized for this structure, the new product achieves both improved resolution and excellent autofocusing (AF) performance at the same time. It offers more than 20% improvement in spatial resolution*2 compared to Sony’s conventional product with the same pixel size,*3 allowing telephoto cameras to capture subjects with fine detail. 

The improved readout speed also enables 4K 120 fps video recording for the first time on Sony’s 1/2-type sensor. This reduces the performance gap with the large sensors used on main cameras and suppresses variations in image quality across multi-lens camera systems, enabling a more uniform shooting experience.

The RB2×2 OCL pixel structure features an optimal arrangement of a 1×1 OCL structure for ensuring high resolution and a 2×2 OCL structure for enhancing AF performance on a single sensor. 

Furthermore, a new dedicated remosaicing (array conversion) processing algorithm was developed to further enhance the imaging performance of this unique pixel array. The optimized pixel structure and signal processing together deliver more than 20% improvement in spatial resolution compared to the conventional product*3 of the same pixel size, while maintaining superb AF performance.

The logic circuits on this product employ fine processing for low energy consumption. Additionally, the AD converter (analog-to-digital conversion circuit) has been optimized through increased parallelization to achieve high-speed data readout that is double that of the conventional 1/2-type sensor.*3
 

The improved readout speed enables 4K 120 fps video recording for the first time on Sony’s sensor of the same size, which had been difficult to achieve with previous designs.
