NEW YORK, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Around 100 former heads of state and government from every continent and across political traditions today issued a joint call for current leaders to renew international cooperation grounded in common principles and translate those principles into concrete results for people around the world. 

Against that backdrop, the former leaders underscore that today’s challenges — from conflict, climate change and pandemics to inequality, migration and transformative technologies such as artificial intelligence — require not more unilateral responses, but better international cooperation: grounded in human dignity, the rule of law and mutual respect; honoring sovereignty while recognizing interdependence; and delivering tangible benefits for people and communities.

The call comes as new global polling suggests that, despite rising nationalism, populism and isolationism, public demand for international cooperation remains strong. A survey conducted by Focaldata with support from The Rockefeller Foundation in association with its public charity, RFCC, found that 57% of people across 34 countries agree that their country should cooperate with other countries to solve global challenges, even if it means compromising on some national interests. In every country surveyed, a majority said they would support their country’s leader publicly endorsing a shared set of principles for international cooperation alongside other current and former world leaders. 

The polling also points to substantial agreement about what those principles should protect and advance. More than 80% of respondents supported including commitments to ensure that all human beings can live with dignity and to take collective action on threats to life, peace and security.

The statement is part of the wider Principles of Cooperation initiative, developed over the past year through The Rockefeller Foundation’s Build the Shared Future effort, building on dialogues convened in diverse and dynamic communities around the world. The Principles of Cooperation initiative seeks to help establish a stronger basis for international cooperation capable of addressing the shared challenges of the twenty-first century and fostering more equitable partnership between the Global North and South. 

Drawing on global polling into public attitudes toward cooperation, consultations with think tanks, civil society and the private sector across regions, and engagement with former leaders, the initiative is designed to build broad, cross-regional ownership around a common foundation for future cooperation and a practical agenda for collective action. The statement represents an important step in that wider effort, creating a pathway for further engagement with current leaders and, over time, broader support for and adoption of shared principles for international cooperation.

At the core of the SPARKX i8 is Creality’s QuarTeks™ Color Change System. The new architecture integrates four independent filament channels into one compact toolhead. Unlike systems that require multiple toolheads or external filament swapping, the i8 pre-loads filaments directly into the quad-channel toolhead to make color changes more efficient. 

Near the nozzle tip, QuarTeks™ is equipped with an ultra-short shared filament path of less than 1 mm, or approximately 2 mm³. It is at least 30 times shorter than other shared paths widely used in the market. Powered by the ultra-short path, the i8 is able to switch color channels in less than 1 second, as it significantly reduces filament retraction, feeding and purging. SPARKX i8 eliminates prime towers by shifting color-change travel into the model’s infill paths, without the need to print a separate tower for each color change. CMYK Full-Color Printing 

SPARKX i8 also supports full-spectrum layered color printing, capable of creating richer ranges of colors by combining and mixing four base-color filaments across different layers. The layered color mixing* forms intermediate tones, gradients, and variations in brightness through different layer thicknesses and mixing sequences. With just four filament colors, the i8 can produce 16 or even 32 color combinations in a single print, unlocking unlimited possibilities of creations.

Per quanto riguarda la strettoia, l’Amministrazione ribadisce quanto già illustrato dal sindaco e dall’assessore durante l’ultimo incontro: quelle presentate erano ipotesi preliminari, ancora da approfondire sul piano tecnico. Tra queste figuravano il senso unico alternato, con o senza regolazione semaforica, e la riqualificazione dei percorsi pedonali. L’installazione di un semaforo non è quindi una decisione già assunta ma una delle possibili soluzioni. Gli uffici stanno valutando le soluzioni possibili, tenendo conto degli spazi disponibili, delle caratteristiche della strada, della sicurezza di pedoni e automobilisti e delle prescrizioni del Codice della strada. La richiesta contenuta nella petizione sarà esaminata all’interno di questo lavoro.

The European Commission approval follows the positive opinion adopted by the European Medicines Agency’s Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) and is supported by data from NewAmsterdam’s comprehensive clinical development program evaluating obicetrapib, including the Phase 3 BROADWAY, BROOKLYN and TANDEM trials, which demonstrated statistically significant LDL-C reductions of up to 40% with obicetrapib monotherapy versus placebo and approximately 50% with obicetrapib combined with ezetimibe versus placebo, with a tolerability profile comparable to placebo. NewAmsterdam and Menarini continue to advance the clinical development of obicetrapib through multiple ongoing Phase 3 trials, including PREVAIL, a cardiovascular outcomes trial, as well as REMBRANDT and RUBENS.

About Obicetrapib 

Obicetrapib is a novel, oral, low-dose CETP inhibitor that NewAmsterdam is developing to overcome the limitations of current LDL-lowering treatments. Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death globally, despite the availability of lipid-lowering therapies (“LLTs”). I vertici locali si trovano a gestire una situazione d’emergenza con gli strumenti a disposizione. Il vero nodo del problema risiede nelle decisioni ministeriali e negli organici sottodimensionati assegnati a livello centrale: un taglio lineare che non tiene conto delle reali necessità quotidiane di una scuola complessa come la nostra.

Quello del “De Franceschi Pacinotti” non è un caso isolato, ma lo specchio di una grave sofferenza che in questo avvio di anno scolastico sta colpendo l’intera Regione Toscana. Il personale tecnico è sotto numerario ovunque, e le quote assegnate sono del tutto insufficienti a coprire i servizi essenziali, la sicurezza e la manutenzione dei laboratori didattici di tutto il territorio regionale.

La pratica sportiva come ulteriore strumento per contribuire allo sviluppo delle aree interne della Toscana. Sport come mezzo di inclusione sociale, coesione territoriale e benessere per combattere l’isolamento dei piccoli comuni.

La Regione, nell’ambito della strategia regionale per le aree interne finanziata con risorse del Pr Fse+ Toscana 2021-2027, ha messo a disposizione quasi un milione di euro per la realizzazione di sei progetti nei territori più fragili, caratterizzati cioè da processi di spopolamento, minore vitalità economica e distanza dai principali centri di servizi.

Come ha sottolineato il presidente Eugenio Giani presentando l’intervento, “esistono differenze sostanziali tra città e aree interne, riguardo alla disponibilità di spazi ricreativi, culturali e sportivi. In tema di sport, vogliamo ridurre questo divario e applicare concretamente il principio dello sport per tutti. Abbiamo perciò adottato una misura da quasi un milione di euro destinati a quelle zone che ho più volte definito Toscana diffusa. Le risorse andranno a tante realtà sportive che potranno sviluppare progetti destinati a tutti, includendo quindi anche persone fragili o famiglie con difficoltà economiche”.

I sei progetti finanziati, che prevedono di coinvolgere 761 persone, riguardano le seguenti aree interne: Alta Valdera, Alta Valdicecina, Colline Metallifere, Valdimerse; Amiata Valdorcia, Amiata Grossetana, Colline del Fiora; Valdarno e Valdisieve, Mugello, Val Bisenzio.

Tra gli obiettivi dell’azione: garantire agevolazioni a famiglie che rientrano in fasce di reddito medio-basse, per l’iscrizione e la partecipazione a corsi sportivi; scongiurare l’abbandono della pratica motoria e sportiva da parte di minori nella fascia di età 6-18 anni; dare priorità alle persone con disabilità fisico-motoria e al progressivo invecchiamento della popolazione.

I progetti prevedono attività di inclusione attiva e diffusione della pratica sportiva con particolare attenzione a soggetti socialmente fragili, persone a rischio di esclusione sociale e persone con disabilità, incentivandole a frequentare corsi sportivi, attività sportive e attività ludico motorie offerti da associazioni sportive dilettantistiche, società sportive dilettantistiche, enti di promozione sportiva e enti del terzo settore del territorio. Ad esempio, oltre a programmi di attività sportiva, sono stati realizzati o sono in fase di realizzazione, centri estivi sportivi, doposcuola sportivi, incontri con nutrizionisti e testimonial sui corretti stili di vita, sul rispetto delle regole e sui valori positivi dello sport, aperti alle famiglie e alla comunità, programmi mirati a soggetti che non hanno mai fatto sport, anche sfruttando parchi e ambienti naturali per attività all’aperto e le infrastrutture sportive esistenti.

Methane-to-SAF pathway combines Infinium’s commercially deployed advanced Fischer–Tropsch platform with electrified reforming to expand where low-carbon aviation fuel can be produced 

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Infinium today introduced its mSAF product offering, a new methane-derived sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) platform which converts renewable natural gas, biogas, flare gas, and other qualified methane streams into low-carbon aviation fuel. The new offering expands the feedstocks and locations available for Infinium projects while complementing the company’s growing CO₂-based eSAF business. 

The expansion addresses a fundamental challenge for aviation: no single feedstock pathway can produce all of the low-carbon fuel needed to satisfy rising SAF mandates and industry commitments. Renewable natural gas, biogas, flare gas and other methane streams are already aggregated at landfills, dairies, wastewater facilities and gas-gathering systems across North America, Asia, Europe and other geographies and are increasingly looking for diversified end use opportunities.

One Proven Technology, Two Feedstock Pathways 

Infinium has more than a decade of experience converting gases into liquid hydrocarbons with its synthesis technology deployed across commercial installations. Synthesize™ — Infinium’s proprietary advanced Fischer–Tropsch catalyst and reactor design for converting syngas into liquid hydrocarbons — is also used to produce Infinium eFuels today. The two product lines share core synthesis technology, catalyst manufacturing, product specifications and certification pathways. 

Electrified Reforming Improves Yield and Carbon Performance 

Infinium’s mSAF platform also utilizes its proprietary Reform™ package – a proprietary electric steam methane reformer (eSMR) designed to produce syngas with a lower carbon footprint than a traditional gas-fired SMR. Infinium is deploying the world’s largest eSMR at Project Roadrunner, for conversion of methane into syngas. 

Conventional steam methane reforming burns a portion of the feed gas to produce process heat. This adds combustion emissions to the fuel’s lifecycle footprint and consumes feedstock carbon that could otherwise be converted into the finished product. 

Infinium’s Reform™ technology uses renewable electricity to provide that process heat. This keeps more feedstock carbon available for conversion, increasing fuel yield per unit of gas, while avoiding the reforming-related combustion emissions associated with conventional systems. For RNG projects, where feedstock cost and carbon intensity are central to commercial performance, greater yield and lower reforming emissions directly improve project economics. 

Carbon Intensity Verified Project by Project 

Infinium worked with RMI, an independent energy and climate research organization with expertise in methane emissions, low-carbon fuels, aviation and industrial decarbonization, on an assessment of the growing mSAF market opportunity.

The mSAF designation does not imply a single carbon-intensity value across all projects. Lifecycle emissions will depend on the methane source, leakage rate, production-energy mix and chain of custody on individual assets. Infinium will calculate and independently certify carbon intensity at the project level under applicable regulatory and voluntary certification frameworks. 

By adding mSAF to its eFuels platform, Infinium is expanding the range of feedstocks and locations available for low-carbon fuel production while continuing to advance its CO₂-based eSAF business.
